What Did You Do to your Vehicle Today?

Opened the windows and used my truck as a garage sound system today. I listened for approx. 5 hours and the truck still started.

How is the traction control in the rain, Roy? :dontknow: I hear the new system is "very good".... but, I was curious (with all that power) if it is always stepping in to keep the rear from "stepping out". :dontknow:

The traction control has three settings...full computer control, minimal control and off.

Off is just plain fun...breaks the tires loose at the hint of throttle, in the minimal control mode, it chirps a lot but hunkers down to business in a hurry. With full traction control on, it is very hard to break the tires loose with out throwing the back end out in a turn or stomping on the throttle in the first three gears...

When combined with the sport transmission setting (higher and harder shifting points) it becomes a pretty sporty vehicle...next trip to Michigan give me a little notice and I'll bring her over for a little test ride.

With all the computers up and working...I'm not sure it would be possible to spin it out no matter how hard you tried.

The truck came home last night. Been gone for 6 weeks...really nice to have it back.

Cleaned it early this morning...drove it...will get some pics soon...

Added Tony's 3 inch lowering blocks...took the 2 1/4 off...truck sits pretty much level now...

Added Justin's front skid pad...added the JMB remote battery mod...added the full rear wheel well liners

Spent a lot of time and money solving the leaking axle bearing issue...hope it never returns!

Finally replaced the rusting bolts on the pumpkin with stainless steel bolts, now no more rust! Removed the spare tire for the first time so I can see the full Stinker rear end...spare will stay in the garage...much easier to clean the undercarriage with it gone.

Have not installed Stinkers power steering lines yet...

You have been busy Roy!!
BTW did you like the picture of Luanna on the beach??

Well, not really busy...since it was in to get the axle leak resolved...just gave them all the parts that were piling up...so I have just been peeling off green backs.

I was susposed to be with Gabe and Luanna, but a storm scared me away...really a stupid decision on my part! I think the picture was taken at my friends house in South Ponte Vedra Beach...I will have to check with Frank!
