Dad made some money in the stock market and decided to have Christmas for the two of us a little early this year. We need to get it done before mid-January, because I'm going to be slammed after that. :rock:

355hp... 400tq. There are MUCH more stout motors out there from GMPP, but this should scoot the little car along pretty good. I didn't want to have anything overly radical, and there are only a few options that will fit under the "stock" hood. The stinger hoods are too played out, IMO.

355hp... 400tq. There are MUCH more stout motors out there from GMPP, but this should scoot the little car along pretty good. I didn't want to have anything overly radical, and there are only a few options that will fit under the "stock" hood. The stinger hoods are too played out, IMO.

So, a 4 seat convertible will be the way to go, otherwise, I would have a 'vette in a heart beat!

Ripped the steats out, The tunnel cover and wing is off,took the tail gate off. The slicks are on..Ready for the track.

What was the previous engine? Are you trading it in on the crate engine?

We don't know, to be honest.... It's not original. Once we get it out, we'll be able to tell much better by running the numbers. But, it's a 98% chance it's a (run of the mill, hodge-podge) 350.... 2% chance it's a DZ302. :dontknow:
