What made you decide to buy a 10?

Just for shits and giggles why did you buy your ten.

I bought mine when the prices dropped over the summer, Ive been a mopar geek since I was little and have been driving the ram since I was 17 started with a 1979 Ram Charger then on to the Ram pick ups and I have always wanted to build a fast truck I started to build my 03 hemi and got her to about 475hp, but bad luck and time I had to get ride of her. But I always had my eye on the 10 But there was no way I was gonna pay 60k for a truck (when they first came to chicago thats what some dealers where selling them for) . Also what better platform is there to build, granite there are some hiccups on the internals with the help of this forum we all know what to do.
500 horseies is a good start and for the RC the T56 is a good trans and when built up can handle an ungodly amount of power for a manual trans, as the folks at six speed transmission have fine tuned the 56. But I drive her everyday and will continue to do so till I get about 60k on her then she will be a garage queen and become my weekend ride and track. Or I might do what FastJack and build the ever living shit out of it. When thing I will challenge all of you to put your best foot forward cause once I start it will be a bitch to cath me:vroam: :vroam:

I have always been a big Mopar fan. I had a 04 Ram Hemi and I always thought it would be great to have at least 100 more HP, it was fly by wire and there wasn't much you could do to it at that time. A friend of mine is the used car manager at a local dealership where I had bought my last 3 vehicles, he called me and said they had a bad ass truck trade in that I had to see. One test drive and a little bickering later and I have the best and most fun vehicle I have ever owned. Can you tell I love the summabitch???

i had an 06 hemi sprt short whel base and a damn honda accord v6 punked me on the tollway ,,,from a dead start ,,always wanted a 10 but at 52 k for a new one was crazy ,,,then i found mine for 24500 with 12000 on it and BANG that puppy was mine ,so i gave the 06 hemi to my son and bought an 05 -10 lol,,then i punked the honda on a back road and was hooked ,,now my bud wants a 10 but owes to much on his honda ,so i make fun of his ride now instead of him making fun of me ,,,oooooo sweet revenge is best served on a cold plate :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

i got mine cause I am a Mopar fanatic also,I wanted a truck that looked as good as it goes! So the choice was easy! The SRT-10 hunt was on,found the best looking 10 out there and brought her home!

when the srt 8 charger came out i went in to order one but the dealer said they could not get them but they had a ram srt 10. i did not even know what they where.

I was always a FORD guy,but got so tired of hearing the Ford vs. Chevy arguments..so I got an '86 Ram 4x4 and have driven Dodge trucks ever since.I had three 03 Hemi Ram RC ,short bed trucks,but they just didn't thrill me.I took an 04 SRT for a test drive in Myrtle beach in May 04 and knew one day I would have one.

Found this one for $32K with less than 5K on the odometer in Dec 05 and :rock:

Well,it was either the Yellow Fever,or restore my '75 D200 w/440 !!!It wasn't an easy choice,believe me !!! Then they came out with the Yellow Fever !!And seeing as the rest were Red, Black or Silver,which were boring in my opinion,the wife said go with the 10,so me not wanting to argue,I went for YF 265 !!!But I've got to say,I sure do miss my '75 an awful lot !!!!

After my wife got her Charger Daytona, I told her it wasn't fair that she got a fast car and I didn't. Sheknew how much I missed my Dakota that I had to sell a few years ago, and told me I could go get another truck as long as it was a 4 door. She was a little taken aback when I showed up in the 10.

All of the above and more! Wanted something different that you didn't see everyday. Had wanted a yellow truck since I was a teenager. Walked into the showroom after looking at a Red one on the lot. As for why i bought my 10, well I am not sure really. I have always had Mustangs, Camaro's, Lightnings and pretty much as always a Ford or Chevy guy. I never really crossed over to a Mopar, it just never caught my eye. However, when i bought my Lightning, I seen them come out as well. So I just went it and looked at a QC and talked to the salesman, and he was telling about it, and i said it was automatic and weighs a ton, so at that point he takes me into the back and their she was a 04 RC 6-speed and i pretty much bought it and came home, oh because it was BLACK the Fastest Truck for Real. but I still love my Cobra's

I had a 93 cherokee laredo that was done. my mom suggests go talk to my friend dan at this toyota dealership. I dont like imports even if there made here. I still get goosebumps thinking about this. there was this flame red dakota rt 03 with chrome wheels 16.000 miles. mine. bad ass truck. about 6.05 went searching for srt ram my credit said no. but the owner of the dealership said trade for a rumble bee, and dont miss any payments, and in one year I will put you in the srt 10 ram. 9 months later ring aling come get your truck. yep drivin all the the nice trucks. srt my faviorate. its red with a stick. :
