Whats your opinion on the 06 SRT-10???

Kinda funny, if they made 762 total 2006 SRT-10's, that would mean that the limited night runner edition is the most common 06 out there?!?

GriMace, It sounds like im in for a good suprise when I pick up the truck tomorrow. I told them to make sure the vehicle is prepped awesome and the paint looks perfect or im gonna rip up the cashiers check and come home, (not really gonna do it but they dont need to know that) I thought the color looked killer with the polished wheels!! I had an 04 with Flame Red and so im ready to try a new color. Sounds like inferno red is gonna stand up to the hype!! I will definitely post up some pics when I get the truck back to Virginia on Sunday.

All I can say is damn!!!! I have never see a truck so damn badass looking that I have had the opportunity to purchase. That inferno red paint looks like something put on a show truck. I thought the flame red on my 04 was badass but this color blows it away in my opinion. With the polished wheels I had people stopping me and giving thumbs every couple of miles on the drive from the dodge dealer in sarasota, florida to my hotel on the beach about 30 minutes away. I spent the evening detailing the truck and making a list of mods that im gonna end up melting my credit cards!!! Im estatic and ready to enjoy a couple days in sunny florida with a bad ass truck and them make my way back to VA on Monday. I will be sure to get pics of my new pride and joy when I get back home. Im gonna take some tylenol and try and get rid of the headache from permanently smiling when I drive the new truck.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the '06 is the headlights.... The interior is better (MANY more cubby-holes and pockets), also the seats and the center console is MUCH improved over previous models. :rock:

.......... However.... I REALLY like the look of the '04-'05's front-end better than the '06. :dontknow:

when i traded my 05 for an 06 it was an ez justification ... and maybe you can do the same
1: new tires
2: new brakes
3: new clutch

+labor that's ~5K...
I took that 5K and put it down on the 06.... and my payments stayed the same

Do I like it better? well I went from RC 2 QC... and the RC was a LOT more fun to drive.... so that jades things... the 06 does seem stiffer and somehow more rugged <can't explain> the tanneu I guess is cool but I haul ATV's so it's never on... I don't particulary like the front end but it's insignificant..

So, with that... I'd say for a few K... may as well do it... I miss my RC... but I do feel the 06 is the superior truck...

now that I read more of the post... it looks like you bought it... so congrats..... as for the exhaust... I had the magnaslow on my 05... my QC has a custom dual 3 1/2 front to back with 0 cats... I think I paid ~900 or something like that... not to brag... but it frickin sounds AWESOME... I like it better than the B&B... so ... imo look into doing a custom exhaust... I think I'm going to put highflows back on my truck... it's actually too loud ... but I've been draggin my feet on that project lol

Yep, im heading up I-95 either sunday or early monday. I may stick around at a friends house in daytona beach to catch the Pepsi 400 tomorrow night. Nothing like driving a factory beast of a truck thats like a craftsman truck series truck and spend an evening watching the pros driving around daytona under the lights tomorrow night. Atleast we know that none of the nascar cars have a paint job that looks as good as inferno red, ha ha

I love the true Black over the Brilliant black. Head lights don't bother me, interior is just flat out nice.
