By the way.. what is the best way to attach these caps? Do the OEM caps pop off easily? What kind of tool do you need? Are they so easy to take off that they may be stolen? There are not many Viper ANYTHINGs around here so hopefully that won't be an issue. Thanks!

They pop right out, if someone wants them u better be watching. They have little tabs that snap in a groove in the rim, there is a metal ring on the inside of the center cap putting pressure outwards securly. Tom said the new ones come with their own mounting hardware so it sounds to me they will mount a little different.
I have a set of center caps from Tom,you have to take the wheels off, there is a backing plate for the new caps and a stud that screws into the cap and a locking nut,the backing plate goes on the back of the wheel so the caps are held on by the backing plate.perk_1405 said:

You will find that you need to take the wheel off to put these centercaps on as they attach from the rear of the wheel !!!Noone should be able to take them off without doing major damage too them and your wheel !!

I got them on my truck and they look great. But, the only problem that i had with them is when i put them on they wouldn't tighten up so i had to send them back and have him manchine a little more off the backside. when they came back they fit perfect now and look great.
