Wow BFG KDWs are getting hard to find.

Realizing some here will cry and moan I still post the following.

If you never have been in a business and responsible for P&L, responsible to shareholders or bankers and most of all responsible for the jobs of your employees then go ahead and bad mouth BFG. But on the other hand if you have every been an owner of a business of any kind you will know that there it just does not make sense to produce a product with LIMITED buyer appeal. There is a break even in any product that you take to market and evidently BFG realizes they will lose money producing the tires we want for our trucks. Maybe some of you should not own an SRT-10 as we all know of should know we are limited on available parts and gonna pay out the backside for most of them. Don't like BFG then buy one of those foreign windup cars. They all use the same little tires and are quite happy. :chain:

I agree with most of your statement however, the part in bold literally makes no sense. Why should people that want something and are willing to pay the money not own these trucks?

talked to our tire rep. bout this situation.

pretty much said the same thing. its a bottom line thingy

but he also said that its a common thing for other tire makers to buy the "rights" for a discontinued tire model & produce them under their name. won't be quiet as good as the original though

Sorry, what I meant is if costly parts, hard to get parts and sometimes non-existent parts is a bummer then our trucks will do nothing but frustrate. Part of the joy of owning these is their ain't one on every corner. If there were, BFG would get us the tires we desire.
