X metal vs B&M

Never been a fan of Gary or his lack of professional service as well as a few other vendors around these parts but this does not mean his or there products are bad. I have an X-Metal Gen-X and love it. I only notice the so called "twist" when the truck is stationary. When I'm out driving I don't feel squat this is because this twist was designed to help and I think it does. Hits gears nicely and is a nice unit. Haven't tried the B&M so can't comment although I am sure that is also nice upgrade over the stock shifter.

man, i never had a problem with gary or his products, there is alot of critical people out there. gary takes alot of heat because he is a owner/operator, i happen to love his products, they are well made and very functional. the shifters are bitchen, ball bearing tracks help move the lever into every gear especially third, and for those of us slammin gears:rock: that is very helpfull. you will never miss a gear, plus it is a beautifull peace of machinnig made to order. go with x metal dude.:)

ok now here is another question....how good is the x metal throttle body???

I have the Roe but from what I understand both the Roe and the X Metal TB don't give us any power gains but we do get a better throttle response and it's looks way better under the hood. Additionally both throttle bodies do have a high occurance of idle sticking at higher RPM's which requires a AIC motor replacement for the fix.

dude i spend my money on function, a throttle body for a few horse and for $500 is not worth it for me.:dontknow: put money in the truck where it counts, get it breathing better, sounding better, handling better, and stopping better. the trucks have 500 and 500 stock!!!!! go with that and put your money into something that makes a difference, thats my thoughts atleast.:)
