New RAM SRT???

i would do the supercharged 6.4

but IMHO the charisma of the "10" is derived from the Viper V-10. kind of makes it.

and i am sure with the advances you could make a ram with the new 6.4 keep up just fine and fast enough, but could you imagine them with the Gen 4's.

WOW. bada$$.

You can't really mod the Gen4's because of all the computers and shit... can't tune it. That's why you haven't seen many boosted Gen4's:( If I remember right, there are 2 companies that make tuners for it, and they're CRAZY expensive.

The 6.1 or 6.4 can be modded to hell and back cheap compared to the 10.

i did not know that. and yes, the hemis can be modded cheap compared to the 10's.

but you have to admit, there is somethin magical about a Viper Truck:dontknow:

Well yeah, but I'd like to be able to boost it without spending more on the tuning than on the SC/turbos lol

Completely agreed!

I love my 10, but I've always said if they will build 6.1 or 6.4 with a six speed, I'll be first in line. I can only imagine how much fun it would be to shift that Badass Hemi through the gears. That would be a rocket.

It was kind of cool that trucks were the beefed up brother of the Viper and shared the V10 but I am pretty certain that will never happen again. It looks like the new viper is going to be a V8 anyway and there will not be a V10. This coming from the most recent Motor Trend listed the new cars for 2012 and some 2013 which the Viper is supposed to be.

I like the V10 but would like to see a SC 6.4L. Whatever it is it should again be what the Viper gets for the truck. That definitely gives it a cool factor. Opening the hood and seeing that Viper motor under the hood is definitely unique.

new Viper will be a V-10. there is talk about producing a cheaper Viper with a V-8.

Would be nice if the next SRT truck was AWD or 4WD or at least had that option then some of us could drive the truck year round instead of just seasonal.

Also it is no secret that these trucks have traction issues. I think an awd truck would be the shizznit. Would launch like a jeep srt. Fastest off the line

I don't see Dodge making another SRT-10 Ram. A V-8 SRT Ram would be nice. Kinda hoping they don't do another 10 Ram though. It was nice to take a 1300 mile trip through Atlanta and into Alabama and not one other 10 on the road. The wife attempted to count the chargers and challengers but when it got past 100 each she said screw it. Closest thing I saw to a 10 was a new Ram R/T.

I don't know if the government will ever let a new SRT 10 Ram see the light of day again. I've been told that they let Chrysler slide and let them push the envelope on what was really "legal" according to their rules. What makes the SRT 10 great is how wrong it is on so many different levels. Only in a America would you see such a ballsy truck. I would rather see an SRT 8 Hemi Ram, SC, 6 Speed if possible. Also leave off all the extra crap, make it lighter and please, please make it corner better. If they produce a new SRT 10 I won't be able to afford it, at todays prices a new one would cost 70 - 80 grand, maybe more, for that price I'll just buy an older real Viper and a 32 Deuce and have enough left over for gas for all of them.
