Your welcome to try your luck as well! Dark grey with silver racing stripes should look pretty good!

U had nothing for me pre-build. U certainly will have nothing for me when my heap comes out of the shop. But if tony hasn't taken it apart yet, I give him permission to run u in it and Dan's got a set of DR's that he'll let him borrow. So let's do this. Tiny? U good?

Ill take that race. :aetsch:

I say we run on the setup we normally drive on! Just the way each truck would be if we ran into each other on the street somewhere.

No tire changing no tune changes no pulley swaps and pump gas aka 93

So you propose that the L driver handicap himself and race in a manner that he isnt comfortable with and doesnt feel safe doing so because the 10 owner that took him up on his offer to race on his own free will doesnt drag race and doesnt own decent tires?

Come on, he doesn't feel safe running at a prepped track with street tires. He ain't puttin down 700 wheel. If he can't control his truck, he's got no business running. But it's cool, I just proposed "his race" to him.

You the owner come drive your "heap" before or after your build I don't care! Win or lose I'm locked in who's going to be the first to lock in with me???

So now u wanna run on DR's and he run streets? You must think he's stupid? That makes no sense.

I'm over 700 miles away. Someone else will drive my truck. I got no problem with that. You got a problem with that? It's a heavy ass QC. You got a 1000lb advantage on me. You good?

Ive seen 8 and 9 second trucks loose traction on the top end of the track even when running slicks. These trucks (L's and 10's) have a lot of torque and no weight over the back end which is a recipe for disaster. And I know its even harder for 10 guys to hook due to the manual. :dontknow:

Chris its up to you , its your truck and your race, but these boys are setting you up to hand you your ass.

They wont you to run there race, not jsut a friendly race for fun, your daily street driven truck that never sees a track against one that never gets driven, and not willing to drive on a set of street tires. and the safety thing? serioulsy? try that on some punk kid at the local kangaroo, if you cant run on streets then you need to stay home period.

Santeen yours is allready under the knife..

I believe in striaght out having fun, getting serious on racing is when $$$ come out.

you want to have fun and a good time then thro the streets on and have a ball, it takes more of a driver to get one to get traction and down the track then one on slicks or DR's

or Chris I suggest you hire or get a driver.

I don't care about his tires for one. I said i will be up here doing work on my truck. If he wants i'll race he. This thing with L's and 10's, have a beer win, lose i'm in it to have fun. :)

You can bring the baddest 10 you have in your stable and I promise you Ill gap that bitch just the way my truck sits now. :D

the only "gap" you got is between your front teeth, not really worried aobut anything you got boss, you wont leave your driveway to race anyone:D

I'm sure a 14 second car, can lose traction too. But seriously????? That's a bullshit excuse and u know it.

Sure can we change tires? I'd imagine that monster would need slicks! If this is a "run what you brung race" I'm LOCKED IN for Santeens truck with Tony driving!

What say you Santeen?
What say you Tony?

I'm with you there. This is exactly how the thread started and exactly what I intended I will run my truck however you want me to. The only thing is I have dr's on the rear! If I MUST put dr's on the front to run a true street tire for this race I will! The race between you and I is shits and giggles and a beer after!

I told ya, santeens is apart , his is not going anywhere, not for a bit

when chris brings his truck up we can do whatever he would like, aint got no problem accomidating my customer,

but to me sounds like the fun factor is seriously trying to go north
