i found sim had a bad set up on the heads bubba ,,there was not one valve set the same on the lifters ,,dont know who did his motor but i see now why it blew twice ,,plus he had one push rod was bent ,,his mechanic was a hack !plus im bumping up compression ,,

Wow thats a ton of stuff outta wack.
before you install the valve covers, you had better check the valve lift at the valve . just to be sure. I am curious what your valve lift is .

Me too pops ,,i did a compression test today with just starter hooked up ,,on my stock black one it would peg 185 or so cold on all cylinders
On this one all of them were pegging a tad over 240 i hope thats a good thing :rock:
