BB or belanger

If I was going to get a new system, I would go BB front to back (with HF cats).

I don't have to either....and don't, but the smell is what bugs me. If I was to redo my exhaust system I would run HF cats. For now, I just seek out Prius owners and give them a taste!:D:D

I didn't pick up anything with a tune. My truck was special. You should pick up a bit. The QC guys see the biggest difference on a stock truck.

I have American Racing Stainless Steel Headers. Some of the best craftsmenship I have ever seen. Excellent fit . 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 long tubes with a merge collector!!! Please check thes guys out before you buy. They can make the mid pipes fit any exhaust set up.

I love my belangers. I have not cats and haven't noticed any smells. I think Jtsvp has the belangers on sale right now too.

The bigger question would be is there enough of a performance increase to justify the cost of any header over the stock manifolds?!?

I would choose a header based on dyno graph and how much power UNDER peak you gain and second, fit.

If I were to go with headers, I would deffinately have them Jet Hot coated.

The AR headers are very well made:rock:,I have seen two pairs and they look fantastic too,but between the B&B to the Belanger,Im pretty sure the B&B have the biggest HP (dyno proven) gains over all the headers I believe,I thaught there was a header thread that showed dyno gains between all the headers??:dontknow:

A buddy here has BB headers too.
he had a big problem fitting them because some of the pipes didn't line up with the cylinder heads. It took a pry bar an a lot of force to put hem into place. If it was a BB or shipping problem i don't know. :dontknow:
I know that the pipes of Belanger headers are joint together with a thick mounting plate so they are on the spot. They fit like a glove.

I have to admit my B&B headers were not fun to install... it took about 2-3hrs to get the manifolds off and the headers in. Its because they are independent tubes with no flange but I have to say..... HOLY SH!T!!! I am so impressed with them. With just a CAI, exhaust, and an SCT I ran a 12.9 @ 5265lbs with a 2.0 60ft. If I can get my 60ft better I could be running12.8 or 12.7 with no other mods! THOSE HEADERS FLOW LIKE NO OTHER!!!

I thought the Belangers built the most power? :dontknow:

Billy Boat for sure. Money well spent in my opinion. I run their entire system in The Batram from long tubes to tips. ;)
Fitment was perfect on mine, no issues, not sure if that's because mine is RHD but they were as easy as hold and bolt. My 2c :)
