Heads and Cam, Custom Intake.....coming

Sounds like a nice build, Greg does great work you just have to be patient because he's a busy man. I had him do some Gen II heads for my Viper and he did a very nice job.

Not trying to high jack your thread, but there is a pair of Gen III Greg Good heads for sale on the Viper Alley if anyone's looking to go that route..No wait!!

Have a link? I don't see the For Sale section of their forum?

As usual Jerry your mod plans are solid...look forward to some record runs....and btw....hope that surgery recovery breaks some records....

I hope the surgery goes well. Sound like a solid recipe for some reliable horsepower!! Keep us up to date. What kind of cam specs?? This build is gonna rock!!

Thanks for the link! That add is actually for a set of Gen II G.G. heads and a set of ported Gen III heads. The seller states he doesn't know who ported the Gen III heads.

Oops, yea I misread it. Considering it was a UGR build I'm sure the porting/spring combo is pretty good and very comparable to Greg's.

ive got a nice set of heads for ya flow numbers were close to 330cfm if i remember correctly.. dont get much better than that on a gen 3 head

Talking with Greg Good , my flow numbers will be in the 370-380 cfm range with the Gen IV's.

Just ordered the custom ARH headers from American Racing Headers, spoke with Nick, doing 1 7/8 tubes with 3 1/2 " collectors and GenIV flanges, headers are 5 into 1, and not tri-y. According to Chris Jensen the 5 into 1 sets they tested at DC Performance on the Viper cars made superior power to the tri-y design. Set will be 1 of 1. This is getting exciting.

Exactly thats why ive been preaching gen 4 conversion for you since day one, at least now your finally doing it..

im not sure why my strikers flow but I dont think its much more than that or maybe even less.

anyhow congrats on finally taking my advice lol..

Are you going to use the strikers on an NA build or are you talking about the Strikers on the "Ram from Hell" you just bought?

I'll bet it is fun.....now get to a track and get us some times....we are all curious as to how fast it will be!

Just fixing up a few things to get her running perfectly. New power steering pump going in Monday its leaking like crazy and only works 50% of the time. Then just cleaning up some crimped wiring and replacing with soldered heat shrink fittings.

But there are some cool features as well. I have a temp gauge just before the TB and wow the air going into this thing is COLD.. its basically going in at ambient air temps, no matter how long i drive it or how hot it stays with in 5 degrees of the outside temp.. " Sweet"

As well the truck is almost not streetable, well it is in a way if you drive it slow and low rpm its ok,, but if you want to have a lil fun, you can not even think about it unless your up in 4th gear the first 3 gears are useless even 4th is a lil crazzy, when you get up to 100/110mph she starts to get harry sideways.

but soon as i get the new pump in, and the suspension dialed in caltracks are way out of wack, ill get some new videos anyhow and hopefully to the track this summer, but the plan right now is Texas mile this fall..
