    UIH,

I was able to get the new rotors and pads installed today. I got a great deal on the black anodized EBC dimpled and slotted rotors and some green stuff pads for the front and rear. It took about 3 hours to from start to finish.

I didn't realize just how shitty the stock brakes were until I took a drive after install. It will be a bit before I can bed the new stuff per the instructions.

    Some pics.

    It just looks cool

    Thanks hawk,

The bumpers that came with the Stage 2 kit are black. Energy Suspension has the same bumper in red. I purchased them from Summit, Same PN just an R at the end.

    ENS-9-9143R

They were like 30 bucks. It matches what I have going on with the rest of the truck and was a cool accent.

Thanks, still deciding on a suspension upgrade for next year. Looking for better handling than OE, not for drag racing but for cornering(maybe a little racing...LOL), but the Stage3 kit that JMB has is a strong possibility........Not sure if the QA1's are better than the Bilstien's....????

My thought as well. The road track look.

I am very happy with the Ultimate Extreme 2/3 Ninja Assassin kit from JTS. The ride and feel is much better lowered. Plus it just looks Bad Ass.

I am still using the stock Bilstien's and have no plans to change them any time soon. They are in real good shape with no leaks so until the go TU i will use them

I do have to get rid of the Pirelli's . They are OE and just about like solid rubber at their age. I will have a new set of rubber for the spring if not sooner.
Have not decided on tires yet. There are several good choices out there but will need to see what meets my driving needs.

I only leveled the truck as the roads I need to drive on suck, with a 2/3 I would make a mess under the truck.

    UIH,

I did it. Went with the BFG. I did have a chance to drive it and they feel great, but then again rocks would have rode better than the stock junk that came on the truck. I have to pull the wheels and do a better job removing the old weight tape. I asked the installed not to use a screwdriver to pry the old weights. He had a nice brass putty knife and did use care.

Its still real cold here on LI so it may be a while before I can properly test them.

    They look cool though.

got the same prob with the guys i use. if i'm takin her in for a rotation or replace, i'll pull the wheels, remove the weights, clean the whole inside with windex, use brake cleaner to remove the old tape & reclean the whole inside with brake cleaner.

you will like the smoother ride. some folks bitch about the noise they make. screw them.

i'm still very impressed with the wet traction

    enjoy them:rock::burnout::rock::burnout:

looks like ya need to align the front bumper a bit

    Thanks guys,

I have not noticed any tire noise but the shifter and the magnaflows are really loud as well, however I could be jamming to something like Unphreys Mcgee while blasting down the road.

I have always thought about adjusting the bumper when I have it on the lift but...

    ...Oh look a chicken.

The gap is just under a 1" and its been that way forever.

I am trying to put the plan of attack together for the spring mode. e-Fan, SS oil and brake lines but...

    ...Oh Look a chicken.

Maybe I have too many other hobbies.

I had those tires on my TL. They looked great and were sticky but loud as hell. But, that was a really quiet car. I wonder if they will be noisy in my SRT.... :dontknow: over all I haven't been pleased with the Nittos. They are sticky, but have too much sidewall play. Not confidant on the highway at all..
