The Dana Super 60 is structurally very strong but the limited-slip is just that, limited.
That part isn't designed for 900 horsepower.

Oh man I read this thread and you guys have some real big brains to put this together and make sense of it all! Good luck with your goals and your build!

will it still be an SRT-10 when it’s done? Lol

So here is the initial review of the BBK throttle body for the srt-10 ram. I will put more numbers in as I get more testing done, but with the increased throttle response that this part gives, launching the truck has become a whole new beast. I am relearning it to get new times, but as of yet, I have not had a successful run with it. partly due to weather (either cold or raining) and partly due to the massive increase in response from the engine to movement of the go pedal.

I also took weights of each TB and the BBK is heavier. I don't have the numbers here with me, so I will add them when I get home. I can also tell you that it has a HP increase, as my 1/4 mile trap speeds are up 2 to 3 MPH on average even with the shit launch.

As to build quality, this thing is built really well. It looks nice, it operates smoothly, and total install time was less than half an hour.

Same results here except my gain wasn't as significant- Maybe 1.5 mph through the traps.

The back-to-back testing we have done (my buddy owns a Mustang Dyno) on (4) Gen IIIs, shows a 10 horsepower increase (average).

Because we are at altitude here, I went back to a non-ported Intake Manifold to maintain more velocity/torque in the lower rpm ranges. It's just nicer to drive...

STILL trying to source a machine shop to modify my Stock Intake the way I want it. Maybe this year???

Do you have the old ported intake manifold? Willing to sell? I wouldn't mind losing a little down low until I get the supercharger and caltracs on.

I do have it, but it is the one that has been visiting local machine shops in hopes I can get it modified the way I'd like. Both the Plenum tops have been removed so it is useless right now.

The other option is to have a custom billet intake made to spec; (kind of pricey); but with a world shortage on aluminum (???), I cant seem to get any traction going that route either.

I'm going to add a few inches to the top of each Runner (same shape as the existing Runners).

It will do nothing to horsepower but will increase torque by FIFTY in a very useful (albeit narrow) r.p.m. range (2800-4000). All because of the effect of Ram-Tuning.

Torque increase based on the results of putting a Gen II Intake on a Gen III. My early attempt worked except it was a temporary setup for testing only. I'm personally not a fan of the design of the Gen II Intake as far as aesthetics go.

A new sheet aluminum Plenum "box" will have to be built for each side of the modified Gen III Intake. It will definitely be a one-off.

Too much hassle to permanently install a Gen II Intake on a Gen III SRT-10 as far as I was concerned. Fabbing the Airbox(es) was another conundrum.

    Ha!!
I found it in a drawer the other day. I am waiting for a "final" tuning session once I get my Intake sorted out one way or the other. THEN, I will install the Knock-Sensor light.

It will have a constant voltage source to the unit and the knock sensor will trigger the light in the cab.

I REALLY dislike being handcuffed to a Tuner owning ANY vehicle. With the factories making it VERY difficult to edit their newest programming (I don't blame them), tuning the factory ECUs may become a thing of the past.

I have so many things I'd like to try but so little time. :)

I guess I could petition for Carbs & Distributors to replace existing tech but I'm not hopeful. ;)
