      Is this still the case?
I need to replace the fan, its in slow mode only. I replaced the PS pump and lines. I am replacing the thermostat and water pump this week.

Hey Ronnie. I have a lowering kit for a regular cab from a vendor in the early years that I never installed. I can't remember his brand. He was before Stinker and his start. Any idea?

It should be just fine. I would pull the heads and replace the o.e.m. gasket with the new design which will put you at a true 10:1 compression ratio (assuming you are stock now). That will help regain some torque you will lose because of earlier cylinder blow-down with the new cam.

Then, get yourself a good tune...
