The second one is a wedge design increase flow and compression. the first one the piston prolly achieved the desired compression ratio instead of the head! All the sets i have done already have been like the second set.

On the first page there is a comparison vs the jm cylinder head's. the jm's use a bigger intake valve we are using stock intake and exhaust. Yes you will gain additional HP and tq. We have not done a set with bigger valves yet.

You can power shift the t-56 just will not last long with stock internals. I have upgraded mine with carbon fiber blocker rings and steel shift forks which the vipers already come with.

I am by no means saying what works in a ls1 will work in a v-10 given everything aside the basic principles are the same. Math is universal !! Speccing a cam relies on what you have ie ( head flow bore stroke what R.P.M your wanting to turn) you can spec a cam for any app.

Using velocity stacks you can use a more agressive cam pattern and have less idleing issues because there is no plenum that is shared with other cylinders.
