I took these with a camera phone. I'll post some better ones tomorrow...better sound clips, too. The I basically started with two catless (X-metal) mid-pipes...cut them off about half way, then custom from there.

Mine is a Stage II Furamic/Organic, and cost $650...kit includes clutch, pressure plate, alignment tool, release bearing. I believe it has 200% more clamping power than the stocker. It sticks! Not sure on the horsepower rating....maybe HaulinAsp would know.

I recently put 3" true dual (no cats) custom Magnaflow (using two 3" Magnaflow mufflers & custom X-pipe) exhaust on mine. It sounds great, much smoother tone than the kit type, but I do have a whispering type sound out of the tail pipes. I used the mandrel bent tail pipes from the Magnaflow...

Where do I have to go to get a new pilot bearing? Is this considered a dealer item, or can you go down to Advance Auto or somewhere like that? I think I through my alignment tool in the trash, too...not that it did me much good the first time. Also, I just want to be clear to everyone that...

I forgot something...what is the trick to getting the pilot bearing out easliy, or is there one?:dontknow: :dontknow: It was a pain to get out the first time.

I used the plastic one supplied by Southbend! Unfortunatly, I was fresh out of input shafts. :dontknow: ..but that is a good idea. Based on what you wrote, and I few others, this sounds like what I was dealing with. So, if that's the case, the noise I'm hearing could be the pilot bearing...
