Bone's Engine Pull - Part Deux

2 phone books, same when I fly.

FYI, when installing the VEC 3 software on a new computer. Make sure you switch to Gen 3 (internal Map sensor if have the Roe SC). It defaults (defaulted) to Gen 1 on my laptop. Even though I loaded a VEC 3 card, the software (program) was running it as Gen 1.

Here's my stock Viper hood on my Hemi Truck. Same shop painted it. (RCI in Warner Robins).

Those injectors were a little under rated and should flow some fuel!! How much boost do you plan on running with them and are you adding NOS too?

13 psi.

Yes, NOS, already added.

I bought those same injectors

That's a lot of injector Bone. The good news is that you haven't lost idle quality. I'm using the 65lbs injectors rated at 43.5 psi with 2 fuel pumps and the fuel pressure set at 60psi. I haven't ran out of fuel yet. What are your plans?

Description:

"These injectors flow 80 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI ( 3 BAR ) and even more at greater PSI! In addition, these units are high-impedance. Despite the high flow rate, they are linear and controllable at low pulse widths and have been used in ULEV applications! This allows you to use a larger injector than normally possible without hurting idle and low speed driveability. Adding to the flexibility of application, these units are high-impedance; making them compatible with most ECUs, while delivering the most flow available in a High-Impedance injector.

These injectors are able to function at high fuel pressures and don’t exhibit the high fuel pressure handling problems found with many other high flow high-impedance injectors. This makes these injectors very well suited to turbocharged and supercharged applications that see high fuel system pressures."

Installed Sean's Twin Pump Fuel system in tank today with Taliban Dan.

Fuel system upgrade kit (as we use here for up to 850 RWHP), includes Twin Walbro 255 HO pumps, filters, connectors, fuel line, boost activation switch for firing second pump in boost, relay, electrical components, fuse holder, fuel line clamps, and Installation instructions.

Some slight modifications to his system: I used my Kenne Bell switch to activate the second pump in tank, instead of the boost activation switch included with kit. Also, Taliban Dan installed a small medal bracket to keep the two pumps from moving around, if any.

Truck runs great....only driven a few miles so far, but no issues. Time for the track.

Pictures to follow.

Tank pulled. Didn't have to use a lift. Used some Rhino ramps on the driveway.

Surprisingly, there was no 'crude' or 'junk' in the fuel tank to clean out.

Stock intank pump. Ran fine. Has about 16K miles on it if anyone needs one.
