Ok Fellaz, So my fabricator that has been making me headers for a few years now wants to use my truck to make some SRT-10 headers that will be MUCH more affordable then whats out there now, but still make the same type of power and have the same nice look. He likes to coat them chrome or flat black usually, but we will offer them raw also. Below is a couple pictures of a set of headers were working on now for a Mercedes AMG. Keep in mind there still raw and unfished in these pics for mock up and dyno testing. Once were happy with them he will take more time welding them up nicer and cleaning them up and having them coated. Ill keep you guys posted on the progress of these and will def keep yall posted on the SRT10 ones.

Any suggestions and or feedback from yall would be nice too.

Keep in mind those are just mock up. They will look much nicer when there done. Were gonna do before and after dyno pulls on the AMG in the next couple days too so ill let cha guys know what kinda power we make. Anybody know how much more power our trucks usually make with LT headers?

Im going to get new headers in the near future so i could be one of your test subjects ^^

LOL, Thanks for the offer bud but my truck will do just fine. We also have a buddy with a normal SRT-10 that doesnt want to mod the truck but agreed to let us double check fitment since my truck isnt a real SRT-10.

Also does anyone know if the RC and QC are any different?(header wise)

My understanding is the RC & the QC are the same back to the mufflers. But there is a difference between the 04/05 and the 06. Some of the guys who have put 04/05 headers on a 06 have had to mod them slightly.

Ok cool. So if i just match the ones for the 04/05 the guys with 06's can mod them and use them then? Or would it be a better idea to make a separate jig for the 06's?

I vote for a separate jig. If you have the resources then you should make it right the first time.

Been waiting for something like this that won't break the bank.

I have MOPAR longtubes on my 06 RC, no mods required. If I remember the issue is on the passenger side with some headers.....the frame get's in the way on the 06's. Stinker should have the right answer though.:)

If you need a 04 RC to test fit you can use my truck. And I don't mind if you would leave them on after.

Yes there is like Brad said, I have a set of Mopar long tubes that were made for a QC and were modded (shortened up about an inch or so towards the collector only on pass side to fit on a RC which they came off of, I bought them used) and I have them on my QC now and they are super tight by tranny on pass side, not touching, but almost! So I think the RC ones will fit a QC but the QC ones won't fit on the RC without modding.( going by mine that were modded to fit on an RC)

HMMM this is interesting info. I figured the only difference would be maybe length(local exhaust shop would be able to take care of that) but didn’t think fitment down the frame rails and up the tranny would be an issue. Well looks like I may need someone’s RC for a couple hours after the first set is made for the QC to make necessary adjustments. Guess i may need to make 04-05 QC, 04-05 RC, 06 QC and 06 RC lol. This will be fun haha

Thanks bud

Did not have a QC in 04,And i am available if you need a truck for fitment.

Pretty sure there's no difference between the 04,05 & 06. Now here's is a difference between the Rc and Qc. I bet Tony and a few other knows exactly what the differences are. I believe it's something with the bell housing/ tranny but can't remeber forsure

Oh right on. Thanks bud, Ill let cha know if i end up needing help. Our shop is located in Orange, CA so if we do end up needing test trucks thats where the trucks would be(we have a dyno on location also so with permission we'd like to do a before and after pull). Im sure dyno graphs and pictures will help for sales
