Gear selection is simple as pull back to change up gears push forwards to change down , neutral is half way between all gears like normal and reverse is selected by putting the gearbox in neutral pulling the lever then pushing the lever forwards to engage the gear.
Looks like you still need the normal clutch / gear selection, no full sequential shifting.
As far as read from their comments on the FAQ page, i guesstimate the price around 1.000$.....

MTI was testing one in one of their R&D camaro SS's at an event i went to last year... pretty trick...

You are the one who said you have time.
It's only going to shift as fast as you pull the lever, you'll still have to use the clutch to shift aswell. It's a sequential SHIFTER not a sequential transmission.
