bad luck comes in 3's buddy take it easy for the night. how did that happen?overtighten?

Pretty much, the housing wasn't seated right, I torqued, it snapped.....

ugh......that sucks man. sometimes the easy jobs turn into the biggest bitch.
hope u have some luck in getting a new housing.

yeah you can install without the ring,

dang its right at the o ring too.

Ok this is what you could try, good ol JB weld, go ahead and do this tonight and leave it inside and let it cure overnight, then dont overtighten just snug and it should be good for a few days. but let it sit overnight
and possible call NBT and see if his bud, or the other place has a housing, also call Heffner, macedo, roe and ask some of the tuners if they have a spare, whichever is closer to ya.

The JB will work, but the key is mixing thoroghly and letting it cure and use the heck out of ,it dont have to be pretty, the more the better.

And dont fret it bro, someone will have something.

I might have one on my old blown motor. Cant check til I get home from work. Not sure if it would get to you in time however.

Thanks Stinker! I am on my way to Autozone for the JB Weld. At least that will hold til I find the right part.

Kenny, Yo Ken! Try my phone again, it seems to work, but I can't see any of the words or numbers on the screen, so it is useless for dialing out.

Thanks guys!

ive ordered the PCM and Tstat im going to be installing it when i get it. do i have to drain fluid at all? let me know what to avoid when tightening bolts for the housing back down too.

Off the alley....

Track Time:
We will have our private track rental from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday the 9th, however, the track opens for a public test and tune session at 9am that morning. This gives you the option of getting there as early as you like (for a small entry fee of about $20) and getting your car setup and dialed in. We have the track to ourselves all day on Sunday the 10th from 10am to 5pm. As everyone know, December + Bradenton = Really Good Conditions! This is going to be a killer event.

I will know tomorrow when were going down to Bradenton... looks like most of the morning will be for public T&T, and I am thinking about getting some run's in then....get to see what I got for another "first time".........make some adjustments... Go with it.:D

YEP!!! I sealed a BMW 3.5 LTR oil pan with that shit (don't ask... )... It will work on a Water Neck.

good call stinker on the JB thats what I was thinkin when I saw the pics.....I'd suggest tightening them all evenly but snug the others down before that one.....that way you can just barely get it snug and not worry about crackin it or nothin. I have confidence you'll get it her back together and def still make it!!!

Stinker whats up bud you got a tune yet!?

NBT....Tell Jack I said hi! Hope all is ok w/ you! Nice lookin slicks!!!!! you gonna roll to the track on those or put them on there? I wonder how they are on the highway compared to my DR's?? What'd you do to your tails....thats what I want!

I plan on being around for Sunday for sure!! I may enter the exhibition class on Sun so I can get some more runs in on a real track that is prepped and has traction.....i usually race on Morosso and prep there is marginal.

Well, the JB Weld seems to have held it together, but I am skeptical.

The only replacement part from Chrysler is in Kansas!!! (Confirmed by two people)

I am hoping that Heffner or someone in that area has one that I can pick up this weekend!

Gotta make some phone calls.

OK!! GOOD NEWS!!!

I at least have a vehicle to drive to Bradenton!! It might not be my truck, (I am still trying to find the part locally) but at least I can be there!!

See you guys soon!!

:rock::rock:

Thanks for the offer Earl, but I will be happy with just being there. It will actually give me more time to video tape and snap pictures anyway!

Thanks again!!!

I am locked and loaded! both tanks are full w/ 12'lbs each! (my guy put a lil extra in there....think I"m gonna need it against NBT!!!!) Cleaned her all up too.....rotated my tires to put the good ones in front and loaded up the slicks and a coupel random tools! Gave her a good once over and green light go!!!!!

I left a message with Jason, I hope he calls me back!

Alright!! Larry Macedo says he thinks he can find me a used one in town!!
