Houston SVTL vs SRT10 shoot out

THIS WILL BE A COOL EVENT TO HANG OUT AND KICK IT AND I KNOW SVTGABE AND SS THIS( LAWRENCE) BUT I REALLY DONT THINK IT WOULD BE FAIR THAT A COUPLE IF NOT MOST LIGHTNING IN HOUSTON THAT ARE GOING TO REP FOR SVT ARE PUSHING OVER 600RWHP AND ARE BUILT AND AFTERMARKET BLOWER OR TURBOS. THERE REALLY ISNT A FAST SRT10 IN HOUSTON THAT I KNOW OF. MOST OF THE TRUCK YA LIGHTNING GUY WANT TO BRING TO HRP ARE RUNNING LOW 10'S- LOW 11'S. I SAY IF THERE IS A STOCK OR SLIGHTLY MODDED SRT10 AND LIGHTNING WITH STOCK BLOWER THEN THEY SHOULD RACE.

TOOLOE WOULD BE A GOOD RUN WITH THE BUILT LIGHTNING GUYS LIEK MAYBE SVT GABE AND IF I NEED TO ILL LET HIM BORROW MY 17S WITH HOOSIERS TIRES IF TOOLOE WANTS. IT JUST DEPEND WHEN THIS MEET IS SO I CAN BUY MY TIRES

I doubt you'll see too many Ls with the stock blower there. They're coming with the big guns. After all, everybody knows a L isn't shit unless it's got an aftermarket blower;)

I'll be the first to agree that a lightning would be a turtle without the blower; you are right, but that's why the engineers at ford put the Eaton on top of it. Sorry that the engineers at Dodge weren't so smart.. Oh that's right, they were too busy trying to not go under

Damn! I can see that I've missed a lot in the few days I was absent from the forum. I would rep the "stock SRT-10 vs. slightly modded SVT" if it were closer. Houston's too far away from me.

Here's my $.02 on the SRT vs. SVT -
When I was in the truck market I looked at both trucks. The lightning was fast but was also lacking in the style dept. Don't get me wrong they are sick trucks, when built. But when I'm paying every month for a vehicle, I want something that people wow at every time I bring it out. With all of my prior vehicles I chose style/visual over performance. Fortunately, the SRT made tons of sense because it's style and performance were better than the SVT.

But truthfully all that matters is the feeling that you love the vehicle you drive. No matter if it's a SRT, SVT, or SS.... I know I feel like my truck is superior to yours but on the other hand you probably feel the same way. Isn't that why we both chose to purchase it in the first place?

VERY TRUE BUT DODGE FINALLY GOT SMARTER AND MADE A TRUCK TO RUN 13.7 ALL MOTOR WITHOUT BLOWER AND ON HEAVY 20'S
