Lets see your garages!

Amish completed the garage in 4 days. 1 of those days were digging the footers. Turned out great. Concrete is in now (no pic of that). Im waiting on my driveway to be finished, and then I plan on epoxying the floor and moving stuff in!

30x32x12. 4 windows, 2 12x10 garage doors, 1 36"entry door. All metal. Kit came from Lancaster PA. Place called Holland Supply if anyone is interested.

i thought you were joking when i read "Amish" until i noticed their clothing and Hat. :burnout:

We just started designing the framing for a 20+ car "garage" in the Hamptons in Long Island. The existing house is huge and they are plopping this in the big front yard. The property is a block away from the water. Because of zoning and what not, this "garage" has a living space on the second floor. Two bedrooms with bathrooms, small kitchen, playroom, sitting room, etc. The footprint is about 108' x 108'. The garage doors in the two wings are about 8' wide x 9' tall, and the two main doors in the middle are about 10' wide x 12' tall.

Here are some pics of the plans, and elevation. Since we got these drawings, they got rid of 1 bay in each wing (only 8 total now). Also, there was originally a squash court on the left side.

Why so small?

Are you allowed around playgrounds? I thought you weren't allowed within 50 feet or something like that.

Nah. Not after peeing down slides in my town. In all fairness, it was three in the morning and no kids around. So really not my fault.

Wow I love that detached 3 car. Such high ceilings! Get a lift in there!

If you're talking about mine, its not a 3 car. Its 1300 square feet.

Ya, the ceilings are 15' high. Lift is on the list, but I've been spending money on the house lately(new carpet, redoing the 700 sq/ft deck, remodeled downstairs bathroom)

Small but good enough to do the regular maintance .

Not the nicest, but it gets the job done. I also have a basic 3 car garage attached to the house. I wish my detached garage had higher ceilings vs a second floor. Looks like I might have to cut a hole in the ceiling to give it the clearance I need.
