He was the most talented person to leave us since Freddie Mercury :( While his private life was a Greek tragedy...The indelible mark he made on music will never be forgotten. Truly a very sad day for me and all those that love music and appreciate pure talent. No star shined brighter and nobody will ever be like him...RIP Michael and thank for the brilliant music

I could not agree more. RIP Michael... :(

I'm sure if we dug into your life with a microscope the chair of piety you sit upon would fall as well :D For instance I can't get along without my Gerbils

I'm looking forward to it Mikey.

Not my favourite music but in his early days he was really good. He obviously lost the plot in his older age (and prior) but who knows why and if he did what he was accused of doing is true. None of us were in those courtrooms going over ALL the evidence, were we? So all the claims from anyone else are nothing more than accusations and hate. I guess until all our childhood is taken away and we get hundreds of millions in cash and are too popular to leave our own homes we'll probably never know what it was like. I still believe what he was doing was nothing more than MJ trying to be young again and trying to make up for his lost childhood, that's not a crime in my eyes.

You get someone like MJ who was already classed as "wacko" in the press with millions of dollars and some poor young kids and families at his ranch and as usual, you're going to get greedy low lifes who will try to get what they can from someone in the spotlight. Those are the people that probably sue tobacco companies for giving them cancer and fast food chains for making them fat asses. Why pay people? Very simple and logical really. Accusations like that hurt your reputation even though you are not guilty to a big % you're guilty "just because" and that stays. Money is nothing when you have a whole lot more to lose like MJ did. Like, love or hate him, he did a lot for music (in his early days mainly) and IMO deserves some respect.

RIP

MJ got over 70 posts in just a couple hrs on this forum and world wide recognition......I cant remember anything he did that really helped humanity........a local guy that spent his whole life helping the less fortunate will get only an obituary in the local paper...reminds me of mother Teresa and princess Diana........both died about the same time....who got the headlines?...yep..

His nose was real!!!! Just kidding, I liked the music as well. My daughter's dance class performed "Thriller" just a few weeks ago. It was awesome.

It's only his music that I have the right to judge, there is another guy he met a short while ago that he needs to come clean with.
RIP MJ, thank you for your gift of music and dance.

Ditto! And thanks for the clear thinking!

WHATEVER you may say about Micael Jackson..... He was a PATRIOT.

His benefit after 9/11 rasised MILLIONS for the families of 9/11 ......

"United We Stand Concert"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uodN5cgKfaM

..... His contributions to "Make a Wish Foundation", "United Way", "Brothers and Sisters", is well documented..... He did more GOOD than Bad..... in life and music.... and, I'm sure, after death....
