Mac vs PC

Thanks for the input guys. I love macs but a macbook pro starts at $1600. Looked at Office Max and they have a 15 inch Toshiba for $499. Not as fast as the more expensive units but my current unit is 6 years old.

I only use the computer for internet and email. Am learning towards the Toshiba.

macbook pro 13" for 1200 but if you have a son or something in school then u can get it for 1100

Sounds like a good deal on the Toshiba especially if you only use it for email and internet. Why spend the money on an expensive computer for such minimal use.

Check out this site....http://www.pricewatch.com/ I usually shop here for tech goods, they usually have the best prices.... I would also encourage to wait until windows 7 is released and then purchase.

i have a macbook and the imac. both are great are far superior than windows software. very user friendly.
