that is where the mature part comes in is it safe or is it not...... if your not mature enough to relize that i could possiably hit 120 mph and that car a 1/4 mile away from me is in my lane...should i do it or not......we shut down the interstate Shut it down we have 4 cars up front and 4 cars behind us...... so it is our own little sanction of highway

everybody needs to chill...if your street racing it means most likely (outside of a few nasty & expensive builds) you car is slow....if your trapping 110 or 115 or even 125...and you need to race to get thrills be safe...
imho...racing a mustang or vette or ram srt10 is not exciting...nor is it fast

Bro, I'm not asking for anything more than the same rights everyone else has to express their opinion.

I'm not going to discuss the minutae about whether the GF is ready to die for the sport of street racing or how the hell you manage to legally shut down a state hwy.

I do appreciate that some guys take safety precautions (as you do). But, on a forum, casual talk about street racing can encourage less prudent individuals to think that all street racing is cool because you do it. Simple enough?

I'm reassured that you make every effort to control the environment. No shit...that's great. But not all street racers are as careful or as discriminating about their need for speed...... and I'd hate to have this forum provide any encouragement that would result in someone's death or dismemberment.

i completely agree no hard feelings i promise lol i'm just hard headed.... an NO one is with me when i race... it's a diffrent game than your normal import when yuoure dealing with a heffner TT Viper or a 800 HP Z06 or 1000Rwhp Supras... it's not kids on the street.. an we do not act like kids we know when the right time is an when it is not...again i have no hard feelings toward you or anybody else on this forum... Tooloe, I know exactly what you mean that you take precautions by looking out for cops, bystanders what not and so forth...I was the same way...I used to street race like an addict from when I got my license (17) till about 19... It was my life and all my money went to buying shit for 11-12 sec nova i had at the time. I felt and still to this day feel like a great precision driver and that kept me confident the whole time I raced. But do you think everyone is as good as you? I never really thought about it till I saw someone loose control of their car and crash into a telephone poll....Hell Even on track cars will break the back end loose half way down the track and sometimes save it, sometimes not. But what i'm trying to saying when you make the choice to race and ur opponent crashes and or maybe kills himself or the people in his car, legally you will be responsible and will do jail time(if you think you wont get caught, the word will get out and you will be found)...its not worth it bro, really its not... I know you built your motor to do what you say but my friend there is a time and place for everything. Dont give me that about god picks ur time, as much I believe that your pushing your luck. Some people have more money then brains, I dont want to race people like that.
