who you calling coal....:D ....Stink isn't coal....he is a chunk of crap...:D

hemi thats cool of ya bud, I was thinking of using Yellow freight since they should be cheaper

to answer a few questions., the emergency brake is not a real problem, all that will be needed is possibly a new cable, it will depend on what type of end the neew brakes, (whichever you choose, svt, wildwood, or aerospace) has, and the guy at DTS can give us a number to a place to get them made, and Gary even has a person close to him that can make them.

Personally I dont think the driveshafts will need to be shortened, NBT was goin the check on it tho, I may need to get back with him, but honestly it shouldnt be a problem , the man at DTS was just covering all options.

As far as shipping , no its extra, and he give me an estamation of shippping from Michigan (where they are at) to lower end of California and it was around $450.

But its like Gary said today when I was talking with him, if ya bust the spiders or install a new ring gear, its gonna cost ya between $1000 and $1500 to fix, so this price is a pretty good deal, not too every have to worry about breaking down and having to get towed in.

Prof?? Why you call me a lumpa coal?:D

ok so im gonna figure a $3400 budget with me installing myself.

Ill get back to u on it really not sure just yet though.
Ill get back to you when the weekend is over.

thanks once again Stinker!!!

Sorry Stinker, id love to jump in on this but its not in my budget right now...
Thanks for making it available though.

Kind of off topic but if one of you guys that is totally replacing your rear has one with different rear gearing than mine, currently stock '06, would you be willing to sell it as a unit? I am curious about getting like 4.88s or something. My truck barely breaks 1600 rpm to go 70 mph... and she don't break the tires loose too easily... with the stock gears... :D

let's do this....

Cali people....where i the Central point for shipping..????

Jack....Turbo....me.....group ship and group install....?????

Ok so we have our 5 for the group buy,

we are going to need some measurements, one for the QC's and one for the RC's, I will call tommorrow and get exactly what he needs.

Basic package is
detroit locker
35 spline axles
and so on

Not sure but what Ratio is everyone thinking?

Personally I am going with 4.56

and what brake combination does everyone want?

And does anyone want the calipers powdercoated red?

the reason I ask is if we can keep the packages close to the same , the process may go quicker

thanks fellers:D

can we all agree on a Brake...?..how about the middle price one...?..I will go with the flow.....red would be great.....GREAT.....4.56's for me.....

Stink with all your power....do you want to go up to 4.10's...?

I switched to the 4.56 gears before the turbo and now it's to much gear for the 305/45/18 Nitto's so I might go 4.10's. Although with the greater tire choices on 15" wheels I might not have to that way I still have a good gear for the 23" aftermaket wheels I have.

I defenitely want red powder coated calipers and rotor center to match the red stripes on the truck. I will settle for the SVO calipers as most of the stopping power comes from the front brakes, imo.

356hp is not that much:p

the brakes were the lest expensive was the SVO

the aeorspace or wildwood, were the same.

Dont matter bro on the 4.10's or 's, mine will mostly street:D

lets check with JBM about powder coating, I think DTS was a little on the high side, plus Justin may do us a group deal:D

Is this not an option? You all are swapping the entire rear end right? Let me know please... I am in the N. Va area...

A GROPE sounds Ok to me, havn't done that yet, Hollywood but what the heck anything goes................:D .....:D .....:D

tom the problem with your idea is that the 06's have a 4.56 the 05's a 4.56 and the 04's a 4.10 so there is no different gearing to be had:dontknow:

Very few out there have changed to the 4.88's

I will call in the morn and ask a few q's guys and get this thing rollin.

Nowwhat, would DC performance be an option for ya'll? As far as delivery and install?
