how did you do that?? lay all the smae color time and then paint the tile or what??? that looks killer

Bought 2 palets of tiles (black, and white), Emptied out the garage, cleaned / mopped / the swept the floor, then we troweled the floor with the glue, and started laying down the tile one at a time.

Once we got all the tile in place, we did the edges and waited 48 hours. Then moved everything back in, and brought the car in.

Not big, not fancy, but its mine and its in paradise!!!

Got the garage floor expoxy from Home Depot.

patrick

I used it in a laundry room that comes off the garage.
Turned out great, and is easy to clean!! preparing the floor was the mother. It had glued on flooring that took me 2 days to scrap up.

How's it holding up in your Garage? I heard horror stories about it pealing up where the it is driven on.

Yep, you must etch the concrete before applying epoxy. If you don't get the floor absolutely CLEAN, and have a section "pop" (the coating peel up or come off), it's nearly impossible to strip all the epoxy back off the floor and do it over.... then you will have goofy patch marks all over. :puke:

I miss my old garage.... but, the next one will be better.

Damn worm, your going to leave nose prints on your back wall.

I hang ball from the ceiling so my girlfriend know not to go past a certain point.

Here's Mine when I first moved into my house... It looks a LOT different now. Fridge is gone. Lots of neon signs and framed art in the garage. Oh,,, and the M3 has been replaced with my truck. RaceDeck Flooring:

Love this thread - kicks ass. I plan to one day own 50+ acres with my own drag strip.......like, when I win lotto but until then, my 2 car garage will have to do. It's as big as I could go. It's 19.7ft wide and 22ft deep. I like it, I have a single down the back as well and a decent driveway. But, I love garages so it's not big enough. If you ask me, there is no garage in the world that is big enough. It could be acres and I'd still want bigger LOL.....OK, maybe not but you get my point.

One note, I have seen the ground stuff before. What is it's purpose exactly? Mine is just concrete. I'm guessing it's for cleaning up spills and perhaps a little underfloor warmth? What can I use to coat my concrete floor? Is it expensive to do? Is it just a case of mask the walls and spray/coat? Photos below are when it was a couple of weeks old but I'm a clean freak. All tools, parts and rubbish have homes.

Cheers,
Carl

UMMMMM, yeah..... But she's a 300 pound bulldike. Scary Stuff man, very scary. She does have a 19yo brother, he's the cow for Chik-Fil-A in DC.:D :D

Not that kind of guy.

The 300 lb sister might just be a little too much for the Harley. I could always tow a trialer with the bike to haul her around (no pum intended) in.
