The truck was already putting down close to 700 before falling on its face because of the injector mismatch. This is with considerable timing pulled, no meth injection, etc. I'm going to be really surprised if it's not putting down numbers well into the 900's on a pump-gas tune when all is said and done. Honestly, I'm just hoping that mothertrucker holds together. I gots me some racin' to do.:burnout:
Better hurry UP!!!! .... You only got about 3 more weeks of summer before winter hits again, in the Festering Shit-Hole.
FUUUCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry
Ah, the tuner surfaced! AND I MISSED THE DAMNED PHONE CALL FROM HIM!! He emailed wondering if Sunday worked for me, but this is my oldest son's wedding weekend, so that's a no-go. SOON THOUGH!!!
dude, tell him that 10000 people waiting in the shadows with pitchforks waiting for your results...he can get married next weekend!!!!
OK. R.F.H. I wish i had the $ for a project such as yours. Not jealous by any means but glad someone is doing it! I know a guy with a lightning who has vested about the same as you prolly have on this truck and is a few hundred horse shy of what im sure you will be putting down (and for my guess 1127hp and 1219tq)....if it's not to late. Good luck. And can you send me some links for vids/pics of yur truck?
Whatever it is, it's gathered a fair amount of dust. Spent the day changing out the injectors. The low impedance (thanks Gary the Fairy) 85# units are out, and the high impedance Bosch 100# are in. It would have been a whole bunch easier, but this necessitated changing the connectors on the harness. Time consuming stuff. No more brick wall at 4500 RPM now though. Just waiting on a modified tune from my tuner so I can get it down to the dyno. It will probably run ok, but there's no sense in running it as rich as it's going to run on the old tune. Matter of fact, there' s a real risk of washing down the cylinder walls.
