WHAT REGULAR CAB DRIVERS LOOK LIKE AND WHAT THEY DO FOR A LIVING:D
thats what i've been trying to say...thanks for putting it into pics stinker...now even the quad guys can understand it

I wanted mine because its a full size DODGE truck thats a stick and has the speed to back it up. I have always had a manual trans and dont ever really want an auto. QC auto maybe if i had a family but even then i dont think id want an auto.

here is what most rc owners look like.hell,it aint like they got the room to pick up a load of women.:D

Holly shit..... Look what I started!!! Too fluking funny..... The original question was about the manual vs auto and the fun factor. It's obvious why someone would want a QC over a RC, it's plain practical and still a BEAST! I have a diesel F350 that I tow with, my wife has a Tahoe for the family if we need it, I just like the fact that I can fit more in the CAB of my QC than would fit in the front seat of a RC. What's bothering me after driving mine for the first 6k miles is, I'm tired of trying to shift it like a manual to keep it in 1st if I don't go WOT off the line or to have to stomp back down on it to get it going agian, or keep it in 2nd to keep the RPMs up, or turn off the overdrive so the the gas pedal doesn't feel like mush!

If I do shift it manually its fine I guess....Just doesn't seem natural. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE this truck more than any truck I've ever had, including most of the cars as well (exclude Z06). I was just asking your guys opinion who have driven both, if the manual is REALLY ALL that much better in regards to fun factor and aggresive driving. I'm feeling like I should have bought C7 Z06 now simply because I'm just a freakin speed demon who can't get enough..... You guys are funny as hell, thought. Keep it up!:fight:

well that about summed it up...yes the RC is more fun to drive...yes the QC is more family oriented...yes its great it pick on the quad guys...

More room for my imaginary hot chick friends....plus my son likes having chicks on both sides of him in the back seat!:D:D:D:D:D

well at least its a QC SRT, and not a RC SVT or SS, so i guess if you dont have an RC SRT, the next best thing is the QC SRT

lol too funny. and let me just verify he was sucking his thumb....

Not a damn thing wrong with a QC... as to why I chose QC vs. RC..... I like the extra room, and at the time i got it, I lived in Houston and to hell with sitting in retarded houston traffic shifting to 1st every 3 seconds, and plus I wanted to take it to car shows and do lots of audio stuff, and then it's cool to take a big group of friends and have them be like 'ohhhh and ahhhhhh" instead of just one other person. and then theres a bit more awe factor from winning a race in such a large truck. I'm not really that concerned about being the fastest cuz theres always somebody faster so the small weight reduction isn't enough to sway me to RC vs QC but if I were to go all out with carbon fiber this and stripped seats and spare tires etc then I'd go RC.

If I were rich I'd have both, if I were really rich I'd have both and a Viper.... I wish my 300zx was a stick more than I wish my QC was a stick.... but more than that I wish I had paddle shifters on the QC that I could toggle between auto and manual.......... that'd be sweet.

But regardless lets not try attaching gender stigmas to either one... It'd be a shame if I had to reveal that all RC owners are gay :D

so does that mean that those of us who own both go both ways?:dontknow: :D

I love to drive a good stick and can bang gears with the best of them. But, I knew I was buying a TRUCK. If I wanted something just for speed I would have gotten a car. I have a new born on the way and already have a 5yr old little girl so it was a no brainer as which one to get for me. Both trucks a very cool and not everybody has one!

Welp, my turn to chime in...

THERE IS NOTHING BADDER ON THE STREET THEN SEEING AN RC GOING THROUGH THE GEARS >>>THE NOSE LIFTS>>>TIRES BREAK LOOSE>>>EXHAUST ROARS, JUST PLAIN BAD ASS. IF YOU ARE LUCKEY ENOUGH TO OWN ONE AND WOULD LIKE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE COMING DOWN THE STREET.....HITCH A RIDE IN A QC, AND WATCH OUT THE REARVIEW MIRROR AFTER THE THIRD HONK
