Roe Intercooler Interest

I'll take some really good pics tomorrow.

but there is 3-4" infront of the blower and 7 or 8 in the back...........I't looks small on the 10 :)

It looks bigger due to the top mount inlet.

My understanding is he is finishing up on an engine build and then he will start doing the R&D.

Spoke with Sean about this last week. He is managing some issues that have priority, but is pondering this task.

When Sean ponders we all benefit.

I am not convinced that there is sufficent value in the project to justify the R&D.

Were you left feeling that he would not move forward with the project?

I think there is some return on investment to be made with some of us on this list doing a retrofit. Like a lot of things, I also imagine some on the list will change their minds. But I think there is more return on investment to be made by incorporating it into the sale of new units. The blower (both new and old) are capable of supporting fairly substantial power if you believe what Justin has to say.

Some have bailed on the twin screw for the centrifugal. But we have seen the centrifugal runs out of volume as well. I want to be one of the few who completes the ride. I believe there is more there to be had, and I think Sean is the man to find it for us.

And I think I may just have the truck to turn that ROE torque into one great run that is in the same playground with the big boys.

My truck will never win a HP war. But I do believe that the instant torque of the twin screw will make a difference if we can ever get it to hook. I believe that I have a chance to make that happen. My goal all along has been a low 11 on "street" tires.

From my personal frame of reference I would not develop something that would not return at least $50k in profit...you can do the math...Sean might have different goals than me.

He is in business to make a profit. $5 or $10k profit on this kind of design and build just would not be a choice I would make.

Wow, your up late...........:)

Prof, shoot me a PM so we may discuss some of our options. I would like to see this through. If not, I will venture out on my own and design one. I will be starting my build the beginning of next month and would like to have an intercooler available or built by it's completion.

I figure is he sells an intercooler to HALF of the people that bought his blower... he'll make out alright:dontknow:

guys here is what i would do since there is such a huge interest ......you guys all pile up and take a truck down to hogans intakes im sure he could figure it out with enough money and time anything is possible!!!!!!!
