Stinker said:well you are correct , but I guess it would depend on what ART's shop rate is also, to be $60 is enough ,but I have seen them as high as $100:argh:![]()
personally I think $1500 installed an tuned would be about right?
soup to nuts...$1200 installed and tuned with 3 dynos graphs before and 3 dyno graphs after would be worth it for me.
BUt on my viper we had to do injectors and fuel rails. we also did wires and some other stuff
just seems very easy to do it on a truck now.
We also wired in a Boost a pump
For the truck to my knowledge to put on the 6# pulley (5.6#) what ever it is.
you just need to wire in the VEC3, pull of the intake, put on the blower, hook up the water/meth...
on a viper we had to
1. Take off the hood
2. take off the air box
3. take off 2 throttle bodies
4. wire in VEC3
5. Wire in BAP
6. Wire in W/m
7. Solder in larger injectors
8. We put new wires on
9. remove intake manifold
10. have a beer with Voodoo
11. Since the battery is under the wheel well of the rear passenger tire, take that tire off to wire in all the crap.
12. Run the wire and w/m line under the car
13. Go get ice coffee at mcdonalds
14. put in pod pillar and wire in A/F and boost gauge
15. actually drive around to tune the car.
16. all this and we put the car on 4 jack stands
now I am not saying a truck is easier, but its no where near as extensive as this. 26 hours is way to long.
