Hey Marty, What is the "two bar map"?Is that in the SCT tuners we are getting? Or is it something we need to get? just to clarfy,Im sure theres otheres that would like to know also?And what it does?

I would be one of those people that have wondered this too. Best I can understand of it is you need it for FI applications.

I believe wyoramsrt-10 is correct! a "bar " is a unit of measuring pressure. 1 bar is 100 kilopascals which is normal atmospheric pressure. you would need to get a 2 bar Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor or MAP sensor for Forced Induction.

OK Marty I think I'm getting it. No matter what kind of mods you have as long as it is N/A you can run without the VEC. Make a dyno pull without the VEC and send you the charts. After you receive them you can send out the SCT with the proper tune. Will this tune be "perfect" or would you need to make another dyno pull with the SCT and "fine tune"? THANKS for all your help

2 Bar is only needed for boosted applications. It is a separate sensor that replaces your current 1 bar MAP sensor. Then I reprogram for the new one.

Tommy, if you are referring to as VEC tuner for a naturally aspirated combo, yes, remove it and install the SCT tune into the trucks PCM. I am sure the tune I send you will be 90% correct before you even go to a dyno. Should you decide to dyno, then send me the info and I will send you back a updated file to fine tune your combo. Hope this helps.

No,no,no....you need 60lbrs a 2 bar map sensor and the SCT tune first before you dyno. I have the tune very rich and safe for starts on a supercharged app.

Are you saying I need 60LB injectors, 2 bar map sensor and the SCT tune before dynoing? I can then send the dyno chart and you can fine tune by sending me and updated flash for the SCT...........if this is the case what do I need to do to get the SCT from you?....How about the injectors & map sensors?

Hey Marty just curious what's the count on the SCT Tuners from the group buy so far?

ATTENTION : I just wanted to say that we are pounding out these tuners as fast as we can. If we see any discrepancy with the pcm values in the SCT software we get SCT techs on it and we move to another order. We also have not matched the order list on here with the order list that we are processing because of the delays in matching VIN's to PCM's and keeping that together in the software, etc. Some folks may get tuners before others despite who ordered one first.

PLEASE bear with us and be patient while we move through these orders.
