The Engine Build

Yep 600-650whp could be where I will be, so I reckon some changes should be made.
The pump for sure. Maybe sneek up a size of injector and let the better design modern tech injector with multiple holes do the job. With travel and dyno time it is a $1000 day. Probably cheaper in the long run to do it once and be right.
Agree , its a better safe than sorry thing just like your entire build

Must stay with the Plum Crazy theme ! Its at the least worth 20 extra HP hahahaha !

That top set is priced way better than the other two companies and they offer purple adapters!! Lol

If price isn't less because of quality issue that's a great price and lifetime warranty
Agreed ,, but not sure if those are the proper injectors for the 10

Any new Injector option with the capacity needed that has a 35mm length from the bottom flat base of the Injector's electrical connector (o.e.m..size) to the firing end (and fits the bore, of course), would be ideal.
That flat base prevents the Injector from going deeper into the Intake Manifold Boss.
If using shorter Injectors (than that measurement), a single hole discharge would be best to prevent fuel recondensing inside the Intake Manifold boss.
For example, if using a multi-hole firing tip with say a 30 degree pattern with a shorter Injector than stock, that will cause fuel to recondense (not burn) if the spray hits the walls of the Intake boss.
*As this may be cringe-worthy, I wish I could tell you a fuel pump will circumvent the fuel delivery issue you may have, but it won't.* 630 wheel seems to be the agreed limit for the o.e.m. Injectors.
If everything is setup properly with your build, your engine will be very close.
Maybe see what you end up with for A/F ratio at w.o.t. and go from there. Not too difficult to install Injectors later.

Also ideal would be the same electrical connector as o.e.m. .

Have fun and good luck.

So what injectors did you use?
Tell me about drilling the manifold and why the injectors were not a direct fit

I have short listed some injectors and I figure DeatschWerks do a 550cc (50lb?) that is a direct fit.
They have a good reputation and Torrie uses them.

Any thoughts?

Good reveiw , direct fit , Torrie approved does sound like a good choice .

It's often good to stay with something your tuner is familiar with. Something around 50 Lbs./hr. should be enough.
Yeah I think so.
I have just pulled the trigger and bought those 50lb injectors and the Walbro 450 pump
I maybe living on bread and water for awhile but....I am only doing this once.
There will be no more upgrades so I don't see the point for 69lb or larger.
I believe rightly or wrongly that it will be easier to control of a correct sized injector, therefore, more efficient use of fuel.....near $3 per litre. I know you people laugh about fuel economy and these engines. That is easy when your fuel is cheap.

Efficiency is the key to fuel economy and performance ..
