The Engine Build

What is your breaking time frame and proceedure ?
Gotta WOT IT A FEW TIMES .
What was the cam power range ?

Cam is similar range to before.
Pissing rain here today no WOT
No labouring, no WOT. Just drive as a normal, rational human being.....yeah, good luck with that.
It gets more pedal (Jandal) as we go
That is a Kiwi slang. flip flops, thongs whatever
So givin' it the Jandal means WOT

Tune is in. Yes I will go back to the same dyno I used before. It is a Mainline dyno so reads low compared to dynajets etc
It should be really lumpy but because there are 2 extra cylinders it cuts it off and gives it a much smoother but choppy sound. It has quite a 'chortle'
Changed the injector plugs and got rid of the adapters too. Looks very tidy.
Heat wrap works a treat. Can touch the headers with engine at operating temp and there is very little under hood temp. Free hp there. Also helps with the scavanging. I call it the chimney effect. When the chimney gets hot the fire roars.

All sounds very good! Seemsc as your engine man did an excellent job and your knowledge gained along the way is invaluable. For all the hurdles of overseas shipping and customs and waiting it seems it's been worth it - if any of it had to happen in the first place.

Kudos to Mrs. Kiwi for her support and patience!! She must be a wonderful lady!

Nice ,, cant waith to get the numbers . The sound alone makes me think better than expected...;)
Less underhood heat is very good on these trucks ..give the effect of running them in cooler weather ill say with added boost of the scavenging ..
I wonder what the difference in the dyno reading would be between summer hot and winter days . With mine its a heck of a difference in seat of the pants feel here in florida ...

2005 I was in Lakeland FL and it was 100F I also had no get up and go.

There are no Koala bears in NZ or Kangaroos, Wombats or Dingo's. That is Australia. Everything there want's to kill you.
In NZ the only thing that can kill you is natural stupidity.
Driving these machines at speed in NZ....qualifies

HOWEVER!! Some coc....assh...idi..dic.....person introduced wallabies from Australia and so because there are preditors here they are taking over. We have pest control, hunters etc only making a small dent. We also have deer, opossums, rabbits, Thar, pigs. All invasive pests introduced and wreaking havoc.
