Time for a serious thread.

Again, I wanted to say how grateful I am for the outpouring of generosity that is being displayed. Please understand that it is hard to put in to words what I feel towards the fine people that make up this forum. I am preparing for my next treatment, so I will likely be offline and out of sorts for a few days.

The generosity and acts of kindness have allowed me to focus on recovery with a realistic fantasy of being able to enjoy my truck in the future. Without your help, I would have likely shelved this project until after recovery as it was to heavy to carry.

I know I said I would no longer help in these deals but last week I wrote Dale and gave him my word I would do anything I can to help. I can't donate money yet for the cause but if I can be of any other value to this cause I am all in and willing to do whatever is needed to help a friend in need....Silver, Eric, Roy what say you guys ?

Dale......This is what this site is all about. Helping a brother when he is down and being there for people. I think time has shown all of us just how fragile one's well being, wealth and truck or no truck situation can be. The true colors are shown of people when the chips are down. The true metal and spirit of this place is not with the trucks....It's the people ! What a great undertaking....just awesome !!! Just get better Dale and don't worry bout the truck Eric is a good man and a good friend....Silverback and Roy no less spectacular your in great hands. Kudos to you guys

We could use an enforcer...someone with marketing skills: persuasion, assertive personality, willing to face huge negative odds, and some background in getting people to say yes, regardless of the national policy on torture.

The goal is $100k if we fall short by 50% we will still be able to get her done, the way Eric wants to do it.

As soon as we get $25k I will start the graph...:p :D

It has really slowed down...we need some of the people that are new here to understand that a few dollars is all that is needed if we can get one third of the members here to contribute.

Heck if we can get 300 more people to give $25 we will be in fat city! Opps, sorry Jack.

That is true.

I know we are well short of what we need to pull this off. :(
