What temperature did it kick on at? My be programmed to come on full blast at 170

Yeah it's around 170.

I'd bet it's just programmed to do that, even here in Texas summers it's rare for my fan to kick on full blast with the factory settings, think it comes on full at about 213* but comes on at a lower speed before that temp and you don't really even notice it's on

Yeah full blast is like 4300cfm, doesn't run constantly does it? It's on and off right?

Just parked it always runs but if I tap the gas it will idle down for a second then back to full blast.

You could run into that very seldom problem of .... engine to cold




But no, your fan should not be on all the time.

return the truck to stock with the tuner and see if it goes back to normal.

I'm sure it will, as it was just fine before installing the tune. I'll give it a try tonight.

I would have the tune tweaked so the fan wasn't running so high all the time

Most likely. I'm not familiar with the tuner's charges.

Ok. Not really worth paying that much to have the fan adjusted I don't think.

That might not be the only problem with the tune, it's the only visible tuning issue.




a bad tune doesn't cost $200.00.
