My unit may be ordering another round of these. Overwhelming demand on last order. At least a 1/3 of our unit is deployed at any one time, so some missed out on it too. I barely got into after returning.

Can any of these be updated to a class 3 status....
Count me in !!!!!!! I have a friend with FFL to ship it to.
BTW , I am prior active duty Army,so no worries.
I haven't talked with our POC yet, but if it is the same as earlier this spring, they all will be shipped free to Oakridge in Warner Robins. After that, you can have them reshipped to a FFL, or pick them up here. Part of the deal with DPMS, is that it is a bulk order to 1 FFL only. Oakridge gives us a huge break on the paperwork and transfer....last time it was only 10 bucks. Can't beat that. Many places will start at 100 bucks and up.
Let me confirm that it is going again before you make any plans. I spent most of the day with the Dental Hobby Shop.
Also, DPMS only charged us 10 extra to have an unit patch on the weapon. With enough requests of the same patch, say a VTCOA or similar, they may do it again.

Subject: DPMS Order
To All,
We are making another DPMS order at the end of the month. I spoke with DPMS
today and w/o engraving our weapons will ship fast, estimating a few weeks.
Here are the details:
DPMS is offering two different calibers 5.56 and .308 and both come in two
configurations, standard [RFLR-GPO(.308), RFA2-GPO(5.56)] and with quad
rails attached [RFLR-GPO4R(.308), RFA2-GPO4R(5.56)]. Basically, you're
paying $75 for the quad rails(w/o pads), which is a good deal, they normally
run $149. We can mix calibers, so if you want a .308 and 5.56 you can order
both on one form and as many as you wish.
Oakridge Customs will be receiving our order and they charge $15 FFL
transfer fee.
-If you don't have a Georgia drivers license, you need to bring a
copy of your orders and 2 picture IDs.
-Georgia residence need to bring 2 picture IDs.
Attached is the order form, fill out all information, these weapons will not
have engraving, so we get $10 off the listed price.so if you order
RFA2-GPO(5.56)- you pay $769 + $15 at Oakridge Customs = $784, at the
bottom of the form write in the T-Shirt size.
I'm the POC for this order and I'll be sending it out on 31 January. Please
make sure I have your completed order form by 31 Jan. The order form must
be printed and filled out. Bring me a hard copy with your signature on it.
There is sensitive information required (ie Credit Card info) so I will keep
all order forms locked up until I mail them in. I'll send out notification
as our order is shipped. I will also have the FFL transfer paperwork for
you to pick up, prior to going to Oakridge.
Also, after talking with DPMS, for the deployed members, a signed, scanned,
and emailed copy will be acceptable. Please ensure everyone includes a copy
of their LES for state residency purposes. Feel free to pass this on to any
others you think would be interested in ordering a rifle.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
