The Fair is going on at the same time we are going so room reservations will be hard to come by soon. several of the motels I called had none, to just a few rooms left.
I have stayed at the California Best Inn several times before and it is modest but very clean and well run. They have rooms available now as they are not a National chain.
Centrally located in Bakersfield.
