Went for my first emission check.

Of course I passed but...

The damn idiot put down 7000 miles instead of 746?:mad:
Can't go back today and no f'n phone number listed.:mad: :mad:

Didn't notice till I got home, let the emails fly!:mad: :mad: :mad: :confused: :eek: :(
 
I have to throw out Full Throttle cans pretty often too.

I just love the can...the drink is growing on me...its all about Image isn't it?!

What I learned today...

The Illinois Government is working without Rod Blagovich!

Sent one email downstate and I received a reply within two hours!:) :congrats:
Just have to go back and hang the dummy.

The tester looked at the mileage twice, even made a comment about the low mileage and he still got it wrong. This part isn't working yet.:D
 
You need to drive that truck...hell just coming up here for my GTG is going to add 25% to the mileage you have!

I know!
I have my boat stored at a marina in Antioch and it hasn't seen daylight for over 8 years! Bought it new and have about 20 hours on it.:(

But it is on the way to your house. Maybe I'll buy a car trailer and make the GTG.:D

Just got another email from Illinois EPA, this must be the Twlight Zone!

"I apologize for the error. Just take it back to the station and they can verify the error and fix you up.

OK this is the Twilight Zone.

My plate sticker is printed that it expires on 6/09.

I check it on-line after sending the email to the EPA about my previous problem and they reply...

"Thank you for directing your questions to the Office of the Secretary of State via the Internet.

Our records indicate your plate number ****** expires in October 2009."

Now what, keep driving it until October and be stopped all the time.
Or try and get a new sticker? Why me lord!:)
 
Replaced the oil cooler lines and about to start a long night of detailing the engine bay :D
 
I cut a big FN hole in my grille today . . . I'll explain later. ;)
 
Mine turned 30777 miles today, ( nice last 3 numbers:D ) Celebrated with a wash! Man they drive nice when they are clean!!!!( especially the Mineral gray ones):D

I got the fkn truck off the jack stands today :rock:

Changed spark plugs, installed AEM A/F gauge, Stinkers oil lines and power steering lines, changed the oil, replaced the belt, polished the Paxton, had new tires put on, and got the old girl ready for Justin's Grille.

Still some day light left need to work out the radar detector problem and wax it.
 
I filled up the tank with 91 oct, gave it a nice wash and detail...new tires and brakes:rock:
 
Road through a huge mud puddle going to the trail with the dog... :)

In the old 4x4 of course... :D Man, I do love having a old truck to play in the trails with! :rock:
