What other cool cars and trucks have you had ?

The good ol days!!!! We need a time machine!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to make one for a long time ..
The only answer I have is to slingshot at the speed of light around the opposite rotation of the sun .. STAR TREK LOL.

But ever since seeing that wouldn’t it make sense to always move in the opposite rotation of the earth to extend one life a little …hmmmm!

Cool collection ..,love the plum crazy chilly and the 383 barracuda ..
I was born and raised in Springfield Va. lived the for around 22 years .. we use to go to the industrial park off 495 at Seminary road almost every weekend and all the local kids brought there hot cars and would have a night of partying and drag racing until the cops staked the area out and started busting people and impounding their cars .. the road that was used was about a half mile long and wide ,, people and cars lined both sides to watch ..this Wa back in the mid to late 70’s ..
I remember times like that too. I am originally from Pasadena Maryland. Over in Odenton there was a Knack’s Dairy Queen that used to fill its parking lot and the shopping center across the street. Eventually it was shut down.
In eastern Baltimore there was the Circle and the Thunderbird. Both burger joint everyone would show off their cars. It’s a shame a lot of younger people will never experience times like that. Police were different in them days too. They would chew your ass and send you on your way. No a days they put the dog on you taze you and take you downtown.

It’s kind of like jumping in a falling elevator to soften the sudden stop.

@Akrateffil is the 69 Barracuda in the first pic and the yellow one the same car?
No not the same car. The primer grey one I bought in 83. Sold it around 90. The yellow one I bought in 14. Still have that one. It’s currently undergoing a total resto, at my own hands. Another 10 years and I ought to be done lol.

Exactly .. those were the days .. Cops back then definitely chewed you out . Some gave you little tickets and there were some that were assholes lol .. Today there are a lot more assholes and they just want to ticket you for nothing like having a clear license plate cover , it happened lol .back in those days ai would say I deserved many tickets and some were just harassment once the click cops new you . They would pull me over just find something wrong with the car and give me a defective equipment ticket . 4 in one month and all different reasons . One was for a crack taillight that didn’t even show white light through the crack .. He lied in court and because I had a lot of tickets , the judge actually said “ You’ve been in court more tha I have your guilty “ .. Wow that pissed me off lol .

Sweet .. Fuel injection , Edelbrock throttle body

I’ve never seen one with that color scheme but I like it
The grey color scheme is called broke ass young person. Original color was medium green. The little old lady I bought it from liked guard rails, Ballards and anything else that could possibly dent a car. So I became a backyard bodyman. Then the poor car look like a leper with spots all over it. So primer was the only solution with a touch of black following the body lines.

In the pic it looks like reasonably simple body work .. not sure about any parts needed .. but it does look good enough to restore .
Beware of little old ladies , dome of them can surprise you driving .
I was at a 2 lane light and the other side merged into 1 lane .. 2 little old ladies and me sitting next to them in the lanes .. the light turned green and she floored her car .. well that was different and a challenge , I punched it and way I went beating them across the intersection and merged .. lol .. She wasn’t about to let off her gas pedal and tried to catch up .. but that wasn’t going to happen .
