Who wants an 06?

Should an 06 SRT-10 Ram be put on the VTCOA Main Banner?

I vote for a change wether an 06 or not. The banner looks outdated, no offense to whoever made it, it's just that Computer graphics have come a very long way in 6 years, time to get modernized :D
 
Not being Negative, it's just that this has come up a few times before. The result has always been the same. If you truely want to get it changed, the person you need to swing to your side of the Vote is the Awesome and Beautiful JJPhoto

I'm not putting anyone down...it was most likely really nice when these trucks first came out/ the site was launched and the software they had at hand! If she could do that 6+ years ago I'm sure she could do something really nice now with the variety of rides! Maybe she should do several new renderings and make it a public vote on what banner we should go with, I think that would be nice!

I know a lot of the original members like things the way they are but being a public site with more new members then original, it would be a refreshing change to see new artwork of our beautiful trucks. I actually like the one suggestion of a rotating/changing banner.

It ain't broke. It's just OLD.

It wouldn't hurt to help freshen up the place once in awhile. Hell, I don't even notice the damned banner anymore. :eek:

Last time I checked, the '06 members we're also paying members. :dontknow: What started out as cute and funny, is actually turning out a little insulting. Bottom line is the banner was done before the '06 came out. There's no reason why it shouldn't be changed. If the owners dont want to change it, then that's fine. Just say they dont feel like changing it. They are the owners and I'll respect that. But dont say it doesnt need changing, cause that kind of dismisses the '06 trucks. Maybe "JJPhoto" needs to update the photo and let the "paying" members vote?

As an 06 owner, I wouldn't mind seeing one up there but I won't lose sleep over one not being there either. :laugh: However, I see other 06 owners points of view. Making a banner up to suit everyone isn't a straight forward job. It takes time and skill to create something to carry our sites "image". A few questions have to be asked: What about silver SRT/10 Ram owners? Gunmetal owners? Inferno owners? What about QC owners? There are 7 trucks in the banner but only 1 QC and last but not least, what about our loyal old traveling banner? Does that mean we start again? A lot of questions which all have one simple answer and that is, you just can't please everyone. I think it'd be cool to see a new banner, for sure, something fresh and new but I'm cool with whatever happens. :D

Good point, and you really cant please everyone, thats why we have public votes, makes it easier to please the majority of those who care enough to take the time to vote.

i have to be honest - i voted " no leave it be " when i thought this was going to be some fun'in around

now look like things are getting ugly

i agree 100 % with you here man, if there was a new banner with an 06 that be kool - if not i would not lose ne sleep over is

and it not b/c i own an 05 or a yellow fever ED if it was not there im not sure i would lose sleep over it

the way i see it is like this - i dont come here to look at the top banner, i come here to enjoy the company of friends

Even though I have an 06 and would love to see one on the banner. I look at it like this... Yankees have many world championships and their pinstripes haven't changed...

If it ain't broke, dont fix it...

no matter what years of trucks, it just be nice for an updated look.

someone could make a really sweet looking banner

i have some nice ideas for a possible banner, but i dont have Photoshop on my computer
