    De-Badged (Mostly)

I got tired of washing, drying, and waxing around all the letters on the truck, so it's de-badged and slightly "re-badged" on the tailgate and grille. I kept the "Viper Powered" on the hood of course. ;) BTW - I wanted to remove the "shield" above the grille completely, but I believe there is...

Anyone using an LT Sport Cover?

Do any of you guys have this cover? It looks like a good quality piece and you can bolt the spoiler to it. http://www.ltsportcover.com/tonneau-covers/dodge-ram-xf.htm#LT-107XF

    Supercharging with stock PCV system

Hey guys, as most of you know, I'm still relatively new to the SRT-10 world, so I am discovering new things about the design of our engines every day. I was looking at the PCV system to design a vacuum-break to keep the engine from sucking oil from the passenger side valve cover upon high RPM...

    Different Weather Please!

OK, the weather is officially not cooperating with my hobbies!:( The worst part is, when it does this for 20 minutes in Virginia, they freak out and put salt everywhere.:dontknow: I guess the SRT will be sitting still until the next hard rain washes the roads.:( But at least I can...

    Why so Rich???

Why do our trucks run so rich? Every dyno sheet I've seen from our members shows the A/F ratio around 10:1. My truck cruises and idles rich. Most engines I build run best around 12.8:1, and they're carbureted. MPFI engines should be leaner. What gives?

    AAAAAAGH!! . . . . Backfire!

I nailed it from an idle today and it spit back through the throttles. I've never had a multi-port injected engine do this. The drive train was warmed up and it was 42°F outside. If it were a carbureted engine, I'd be looking at timing and pump shot. I haven't put a meter on the TPS to see...

My new tags are FINALLY here, but my truck isn't!

Wouldn't you know it? One day after I haul my truck to the dealer to get the harmonic balancer replaced under warranty, my new tags arrive. Oh well, at least I have something to stare at! BTW . . . Based on what I've read from you guys, I'm also having them replace the door seals with the...

    I Broke My Viper Truck!

My harmonic balancer came loose today. :( I sure wish I had read all of the previous posts about this. If I had known it was keyless (brilliant idea  ), I wouldn't have driven home 20 miles with the mild chirping that sounded like an idler bearing or alternator bearing. The...

    HUGE Thank You to Stingray!!!

David, Thanks for the information on my truck. I wasn't expecting it that fast. As you can see, I already added the production number to my signature. Hopefully, I won't bore too many people with this story, but I have to tell it. In late March of 2004, I was at a local Dodge dealer...

    Truck Production Number

I see a lot of you showing what the production number is for your trucks. How do I find out what mine is:dontknow: The build date is March of 2004 on the sticker. The last 6 of my VIN is 220591. Thanks in advance if anyone can help

    First Post - New Memeber

My first post on this site is sort of an apology to the existing "VIPERAM". When I bought my red '04 RAM SRT-10, I pondered over many license plate ideas and invented (I thought) VIPERAM, so I ordered it from DMV. Then, I found VTCOA today and tried to register as VIPERAM only to find that it...
