All I took away from this thread is how many clowns can't use the "quote" button appropriately...

I'm still a little disappointed this thread didn't devolve into the usual infighting. Maybe smackdownsrt will come along and start hitting the "report" button. :D

I was going to beat on that dead horse ,but I let it go . Had to go on a bike ride to Killeen and back with some others .

YOU GO MR.MACK seen some work you did on a hemi (that Im sure you copied NOT):D

Looks like they only want one vendor here ,Its their choice really .Good luck, if it shows some good gains you will have another one to do asap .

Josh I will show up If I'm off work(hopefully on a Saturday) and help do the intake swap on dyno if you want .we can do a warp 6 on it. ;)

Scott, I am curious about this too. I know you were referring to other threads. But, I thought it was well established that the bottle neck in our induction systems was our intake?
 
I agree that his work is phenomenal, however I don't think he showed up on this thread to not stir the pot.

BTW I only popped up to show I did not copy the guy. In no Google search did anything he has ever done with a manifold pop up.. none of his thread history has anything.. and again I do believe it was him who phoned me up from Waco asking a ton of questions and I actually told him all I had ever been able to find on gen3 manifolds on a search was a few pics from a company called FF.. they Dont cut it open.. I'm actually highly skilled when it comes to heads and manifolds.. have done everything from gen2 heads and manifolds to gen4 stuff.. this was my first gen 3 manifold... hence to my Google search and being excited for the dyno as well as everyone else.. I have herd people say they Dont think something's going to work well
In tjr past and then they either drive it or toss it one the dyno and are blown away.. I'm hoping we can set the dyno up to dyno the same way I Have done other manifolds in the past and either watch it make some power no one will believe or it end up being a worthless mod.. but the results should speak for themselves as the same things I apply to my hemi manifolds that happen to hold the most whp gained out of ANY were applied to this gen3.. and all my hemi stuff is documented and its why i supply the people supplying motors and full on builds.. when they need something to make great power they hit me up.. but cutting open manifolds is nothing new.. been at it for a while and the way I cut that was the only way to get full access.. and I cut on the peak of the curve to make it easy to polish the welds down into the radius on the top vs doing it on a flat area and I cut on the casting lines near the bottom for the obvious reasons of being able to hide it.. again until a few days ago I had no clue who he was or about his work.. and had I not gotten that weird phone call I would of never looked into this thread.. 5697 was the last four of that phone number... now you tell me who's poking around and won't pick up the phone? Or answer a text? So again not copying lol . I have literally hundreds of pictures from almost every manufacture I can post of stuff I Habe touched.. with all that said my only goal was to build josh am awesome manifold and hope to Have exceeded his goals and I honestly never planned to touch another.. but if it does good and people want it I'll do them as I stated in my first post and even sponsor this forum in some way.. and if it does great and people Dont want it that's fine to I'm OK with that.. but at the end of the day I am only aiming to please Josh and that's it. So I hope I made myself clear when I say I didn't copy the guy.. plus I'm willing to bet the port work is nothing like what I have done.. if it was pics would Have already been posted.. let's just agree its really the only way to cut one open. I've seen pictures of Scott's port work, via text, on more then one occasion. It looks like what you are doing. Again, I don't think you copied him. But, I can vouch for his work being very legit.

That's all I'm trying to get at.. I couldn't find a thing before or after.. and manifolds are much like heads.. they can look the same after ported but yield very different results.. I think anyone looking at something in a pic would thing something looks the same but sticking them side by side and actually measuring and what not would show something different... the average person looks at my hemi manifold and others and Dont understand why mine makes twice the power lol.. so with all that said if no one can link anything I could of copied from I'd like him to just get off it lol.. it Dont look good calling someone a copy cat with no proof.. had I have proof it would of been the first thing I posted if I was him.. with that said I can't wait for the dyno as that's the real judge of anything in this situation.. has any one ever done a proper before and after dyno? Meaning swapping on dyno and all that? Even straps being tighter before or after can change the outcome.. if so I'd like a link to that as I couldn't find anything.. if all goes as planned I'll get video of the dyno before and after and all that jazz for my personal records.. if josh wants to link it he can...
