So what is everyone doing for tires anymore? Back in the day we at least had a few options now it looks like we have 0 options unless you want to lose the speed rating and go with a light truck tire or some random china branded ones like LingLongs.

Just 1,200 miles later dip is peeling...

Anyone know if Eddie at ProImaging is still in business? Found him on here a couple of years ago and dip on my valve covers is pealing off. Website is dead and can't seem to find the guy.

You could pull the valve covers. IF someone did put water in it and didn't run the motor the oil in the head without an oil filer opening is likely to still have the old black oil in it.

Considering the motor is the same as an 03 viper you can use the valve covers off of that, hence why I said 03....:thefinger:

What are you going to try and get from the insurance company? Was the truck transported in the rain after the hole was punched in the oil pan?

From first hand experience don't make the mistake of putting two of the wide open vent tubes in the valve covers. There is a reason that there is a smaller one and a bigger one... Truck ate about 2-3 qtrs of oil in a 2 hour highway cruise because it was sucking oil right out of the valve cover...
