    Paxton delete help

Same thing happened to mine when I change my map sensor out. I didn't pull the negative, it went away on it's own after a few minutes.

    6speedquadcab's build thread

When I did my swap, the pedals were the most annoying and time consuming part. I spent two hours drinking beer, cursing and pulling the pedal basket out, then another 3 hours drinking beer, cursing and putting the new pedal basket in. It fought me the whole time but I got it in. I'm almost two...

    Aftermarket fuel pumps

Can someone with certainty give me the correct polarity of the fuel pump wires located in tank? There is orange and red, which is the switched 12v and which is ground?

I have a question about the wiring. In your post you said you have to switch the factory connector pins? Are you saying that the factory red wire is neg- and the orange wire is pos+? I'm guessing since you had to drop your tank a second time you had it hooked up backwards. It didn't hurt the...

6 speed Conversions for QUAD CABS

Mine pretty much did the same thing. I hated the 48RE, the one in my SRT and the one in my Cummins. Both of them have crapped out on me. I did the swap because the manual feels more natural with the truck. I bought a rebuilt warrantied truck T56 from a rebuilder in Tallahassee, FL. I bought the...

    T56 1k miles, dyno only

I had this argument with a transmission shop when I was trying to acquire a T56 for my 6 speed swap. I had already paid the owner to build it for me and wanted to argue that the truck and car tail cones were the same when I picked it up. I took my drive shaft with me to prove him wrong.. I...

    srt-10 vs 3 diesels

There's an older dude that lives just down the road from me that's owned two diesel trucks, GM & Ford both chipped up and giant exhaust stacks and he tries me every time on the way to work in the mornings. He also has two sons that still live with him that have diesels, they do the same...

    6 speed QC swap

I'm running the 1 1/2 leaf spring drop shackles on mine, does it really effect pinion angle that bad? I was under the impression that the $750.00 drive shaft I got from Scott would be at least balanced or is that what I get for assuming? Scott, you got more than one customer with the same...

    nasty rear end vibration

It does it in 5th or 6th. Haven't tried 100+ in 4th. Scott, Would I need to adjust pinion angle with the kit you sold me? Did you have to adjust yours or heard of anyone else having to do it running the 6 speed swap? I did have to fabricate a rear transmission mount out of the existing...

    nasty rear end vibration

I'm about 6 months into my 6 speed conversion and so far it's been awesome. I have been noticing while 100+ in 5th there is a nasty rear end vibration. I've ruled out tire balance, it's hard to explain its almost like a wobbling vibration. Goes away after I slow the truck down to 80 or 90...
