Bad Snakes truck thread.

Got the C notch finished up. Installed my Hotchkis rear sway bar. Installed a Aem wideband set up. Reinstalled the rear section of the exhaust. Put the fuel tank back in now just to do the wiring for the 2nd Roe pump. I need to finish the wiring from the distribution block to jmb battery holder in the rear then I can put the bed back on the frame.

Just 4 in the rear for now. No tubing last measurement I did as far as rear wheels is 12.5 wide but I'll double check again before I build the rear 2 wheels. ;)

Ok I know you been working on this jewel where are our pics? Haha oh yeah and I can tell already those sway bar links are to long.

Ok c notch is done. sealed and painted up
Battery wiring is done, Jmb battery box installed.
Redid brake line bracket and brake line by the fuel tank.
Bed is back on, tail lights are in, tail gate is on, fuel tank filler neck is hooked up
I cut 3 inches" out of the rear sway bar links-I should get them welded up tomorrow
Intake pipes are welded up and grinded down, Bov is welded on. I should get it back from powder coating soon.
I made a bracket for the clutch reservoir

Man I can't wait to wash this pig. Sorry for some of the shitty cell phone pics

and some wheel porn ;-) 22x11 tributes

Finished up the sway bar links and reinstalled them.
Built a cold air intake for my s/charger set up. So it will suck some cold air from the front. The filter sits in front of the s/charger and beside the radiator. Will take more pics when Its powdercoated and installed

Thank you it's been fun so far. The paint is ppg satin black. The cold weather has been slowing me down.

Yeah, buddy, this winter is not a fun one for projects. I've only owned my truck since October and have a pile of parts here that will have to wait for installation. I can only imagine how you feel since you are doing such a big scale job. But best of luck and looking forward to see how nasty that bad boy turns out!

Sorry for the hold up gents between cold weather and work. I got around to bleed the brakes and I then I did the clutch. Came back the next day the slave cylinder had leaked so I pull the tranny back out by myself(that was fun). I ordered up a new slave cylinder and installed it and removed the bell housing from the tranny and installed in on the engine-that made the tranny way easier to get back in by myself. Put the shifter all back together and the few plugs. Bleed it and its good to go.

I ordered a few new drive shaft bolts since they were a little stripped. the previous owner must have removed it for something.

I got around to putting my bezzles in the rear bumper. but I must have lost a plug/light in the process so I got a new one from the dealer.

fuse box cover is finished up. My buddies powder coating oven broke so i've been waiting on getting my piping back. He said he got the new elements in for it yester day so I hope to get all the powder coated parts back this weekend.

in the mean time my mmw upper control arm mounts came in so I got those all welded up. so I wont need the camber kit I got anymore because they raise my control arms back up where they need to be.

And I finally unpacked the wing I ordered a while back so I got to get it prepped and sprayed. So the Daytona and oem wing are for sale.

yea I'm looking at a watts set up or a 4 link for the truck. They make a nice gas tank too. If I were to do it over I would have just had them do spindles and be done.

thinkin real hard on their gas tank.

i would vote for the Watts link or both.

both would cover straight line & twisty bit runs

Got a little bit done today. Did the final bleed on the clutch. Put the truck back on the floor-I'm looking forward to driving it a little bit to see how the suspension settles. Picked up my piping from the powder coaters and spent some time cleaning the inside of the pipes to make sure there was no media inside.
Installed my BOV.
Installed my cai and piping from the awic to the throttle body.
I'll take all my T-bolt clamps over tomorrow and put them on and run the hoses to the cooler and reservoir.
Put my bezels in the rear bumper.
Charged the new battery and ill install it tomorrow.
Got 10 gallons of fresh 93 gas
Took a few pics with the cell phone. Sorry some are crappy and the lighting is not that great so it makes my radiator cover look orange.
Oh and I sanded the wing for about an hour so I can try to get it sprayed sometime this week

thanks man hopefully the warm weather will stick around a little bit so I can urethane some of the cladding. Put my carbon fiber badges on and my euro front plate and put the front bumper on and install the rear wing and give that thing a bath.

And I still need to install the new uca mounts and the fender liners, I'm just debating to do it before or after I get it tuned. Plus I still want to get a spray in bed liner and my buddy wants to do a full stainless exhaust from the headers back.
