Bad Azz Tailgate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


As we expected, there was a lot of trial and error involved. After 8 hours its done. Cudos to Mickey for having the patience of getting it done the right way.

Was there a pic of the bumper cover mocked up:dontknow: I think the finished product will complement the entire build perfectly,The fit and finish is far better than the pictures depict.Well,time to get back to work...

The tailgate was a gift from Vipergts/acr(thanks again Dennis).I resprayed the gate in oem black and the flames were shot in 06 black metallic.I believe the flames were made using a mixture of panel bond and bondo(not to sure).

Nice George...is the upper grill the JMB Stainless Steel?

Do you know if it is available for the lower openings?

Prof, the upper grille is from Grille Craft. Unfortunatley, they don't make one for the lower section. However, the do sell the raw material and I have gone this route to fab the matching lower section.

It was a little involved,But it will be worth it in the end:rock: .Its a Lightning cooler,But looks so much better in a 10

Need to paint it black so it Blends,and disipates heat quicker !!! :rock: :rock:
