Hey Tim,

Howard, Newman and I send our get well wishes to you and Willow. Hope all the news you get is good and that she'll be back home soon. Dave

Here's the latest on Willow's condition:

She had surgery this afternoon.

I was a fkn nervous wreck on the golf course. As soon as I finished 18, I threw my shit into the Z and went to the animal hospital.

After the surgery we talked to the surgeon.... As it turns out, Willow really needs all the prayers she can get now........

The doctor didn't have a smile on his face when he greeted us. I wasn't sure at first if that was just his normal personality or what..... I'm still not sure..... He said the surgery went well, all things considered. Unfortunately, he said that the blockage from her gallbladder into her liver was caused by a "mass".....(exactly his words)....He looked rather serious when he used that word. He said they will be sending the mass to the lab to see if it is cancerous. He added that it didn't look malignant but only the lab results will determine that for sure.

He also did biopsies on various areas of liver and gallbladder tissue as well.... All these sample will take 3-5 business days for results.

After they removed the mass that was blocking her liver, they did some other kinda creative surgery relocating the gall bladder in order to accomplish some fkn thing.... I really don't know what it is....

All I really know is that we won't know much until the lab results come back....

In short, Willow is not out of the woods.....

Your continued prayers and good wishes are so greatly appreciated.....

That's about all I know for now.....

God bless you all ...and thanks for everything....

Tim

Willow will be in my prayers

Wow! A little bitter sweet news... I was hoping and praying for better than that. However, it is a good thing that she made it through the surgery without any complications or setbacks!
I will take that good news, and pray that the results of the biopsy are good as well!

Still praying....

I hope I'm not belaboring this scene to fkn death, kidz.....

But we just called the hospital and Willow is awake......

The tech says that Willow is awake but still a bit groggy.....Thankfully she has not had any stomach upset (vomiting) from the anesthetic... Which is always a good thing for keeping the incisions (in her gut) closed.

She also said that when Willow saw her, she brightened up and her tail started wagging..... A very encouraging sign that my girl's spirits are intact....

Thanks again, y'all.........

If you were.... we wouldn't have Willow plastered all over the net! :D

We love you and your family, Tim.... :)

Glad to hear the girl is awake. Dogs can be so strong sometimes..... The fact that she wags her tail is pure unconditional love Bro. :) It's great she isn't sick over the anesthetic... They must be a great group of Vets overthere. Hopefully they can keep her hydrated.

Keep the prayers comin' guys!
