Good observations sir.DevilDawg3097 said:Well that depends on if they love the country or love there partyI do know one thing the Fortress will be hard to infiltrate:marchmellow:
Another thing people forget they say how can we go up against the US military like they did in the Revolution, very easy 1. we know how they operate 2. we know what it takes to beat there systems since we where the ones at one point using them. With that said I hope I am not around to see that day because violence should always be the last resort not the first, but If I am, I will give my life for this country as I did when I was in. But until that day you can not worry about it or it will make you sick. Plus like I said early if a meteor or asteroid hits us all this shit is irrelevant:marchmellow:
Thats fn cool, your house is a fort:rock: , that read on predation reminds me of silence of the lambs, sum scary sonsabitchs out there.Black1 said:As far as "survival types" go, they can get a little extreme. It's always a good idea to have some canned food, water (bottled or distilled), and a generator (w/ fuel) on hand. I don't have any MRE's, but those aren't a bad idea. I hear they aren't too shabby in the taste department either. :dontknow: Any of the military fellas have a favorite MRE?

It's kind of a no-brainer here in Florida for us, as "natural disasters" are pretty common down here.My house came with 16g corrugated steel storm panels for all the doors and windows too, so these can serve a dual purpose if "shit hits the fan". All I would need is some of those "keyed fasteners" so folks couldn't remove them with a regular screwdriver.....
There all good but 3 and I still cant figure out why they still make them, 1 corn beef hashBlack1 said:As far as "survival types" go, they can get a little extreme. It's always a good idea to have some canned food, water (bottled or distilled), and a generator (w/ fuel) on hand. uke: they say shelf life is 5yrs yeah right try like 20 but if you new that would you really want to eat it. There pretty good and have come a long way dont get ripped of you should be able to get a case of 12 for $50 or under, also the is enough calories in them to where you can ration them in half so 12 can become 24, just a thought because you want at least 15- 30 day supply x amount of family members and get a water purifier from cheaper then dirt they have the best prices. It never hurts to be prepared and pray you wont have to use it.
Damn those are pretty good prices may have to check them out.Black1 said:Heheheheh... I heard there were a couple nasty ones.Just couldn't remember which.

This seems like decent prices.... And they are NEW/Fresh ones too. Don't go to the "Surplus Store" for your MREs. They could be from Vietnam for all we know! :argh:![]()

Hopefully, not likely...dawg?............my chicks home, have a wonderful night gents........................and thank you all. :rock:Black1 said:Those one's in the paper wrappers are the same as military issue (right, DevilDawg?)...... They say they are from the same supplier. Now, I'm not sure if the military gets those "fancy-smancy" ones with the heaters, silverware, side dishes, and drinks (all in one package). :dontknow:
DevilDawg3097 said:oh yeah nod dishes and the heaters are only good for making bombsnot real bombs break open the package fill a 2liter about 1/4 full and dump the contents in there it's like baking soda and vinegar, because they suck at heating up the mres plus they actualy taste better straight from the box. If you ever see some called C-rations those are from vietnam and korea and probabaly WWII :marchmellow:
Silverback said:Did the country fall into chaos during the great depression? Did people turn on each other to survive?
Good observations sir.Ram From Hell said:Not really, but then again, we didn't have legions of crack-heads with pureed gray matter between their ears who don't give a good god damn about anything but feeding their additions.
It's a given that the criminal element in our society is considerably more pervasive than in the time of the Great Depression. I believe gangs in particular pose a significant threat to peace and civility in times of hardship. More disaffected youths will turn to gangs, as alternative opportunities evaporate (jobs, mentoring, inner city programs, etc.) and times get tough.
